Nature and Components of SAT

:Nature of SAAT *
.SAAT is an admission test that covers four basic subject areas: Biology,
Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics

.SAAT focuses on the material of the official 3-year (scientific) curriculum of


the Saudi High Schools

:The items on the SAAT are distributed as follows


20%of each subject for the first year of the high school syllabus
and 40% of each subject for the second and third years of the high school
syllabus

: Components of SAAT *

.A SAAT test consists of 130 items in 5 sections

.Some of the items included are non-scorable trial items Each section is
given 30 minutes

.The total time of the test, including the time given to instructions, is 3 hours
