ASSURE Lesson Plan Template

You will create flipped lessons based on the ASSURE model. You must complete this
lesson plan template before you begin to develop your screencast video. Please see a
sample lesson plan posted in the assignment page.

Standard I: Students will understand the relationship between the physical geography in
Utah and human life.

the city. Most have immigrant parents, or parents who have not finished grade school.
The majority of these parents work multiple jobs to help pay for necessities. All students
have lived in Utah since birth and are familiar with certain aspects of Utah history.

*You are not required to create materials for group

Evaluate and Revise:

(Describe your assessment plans).
Students will be evaluated in their understanding of subject material by determining if
group poster presentations reflect what was taught in video. Since this is a group
activity I will have all students hand in their notes taken from the video as well. I
understand that not all students like working in groups, so the notes will help me know
if they were able to understand the lesson.
