DEWORMING NARRATIVE REPORT

Health is Wealth an advocacy of every student’s needs. Datu Ampunan Elementary School
conducted a deworming activity month on January 24, 2020. Every grade level must take the medicine
Albendazole. It’s an anthelmintic tablet issued by the Department of Health to deworm every student. Every
grade level, from kindergarten to grade 6 was given a parent consent before they can take the medicine. This
parent consent ensures us if their parents would like their children to take the medicine or not. Every teacher
asked and checked their students if they had already eaten their breakfast and if they had a fever, cough and
colds because they could not take it if they have this kind of symptoms.

Successfully, more than half of the total students of Datu Ampunan Elementary School
dewormed. Some students didn’t take the medicine because of religious factor, fever, cough and colds and
parent perspective towards medicine. This deworming activity helps the students in achieving their better
future. Because once they are healthy, they cannot easily sick and their performance in school will not be
affected. And, also they can easily get the lessons taught by their teachers.
