School head provides printers and school supplies

With classes being done at home through printed learning modules ,

teachers from Mahay Integrated Secondary School are busy creating
modules and lessons that have to adapt with the modular learning
modalities method of teaching.
For many teachers, this also meant printing a lot of learning modules for
their students. While the parents are supposed to retrieve and pass the
modules on a weekly basis, the teachers have to work overtime to ensure
that they print enough of these modules for all the students, for all the
subjects/classes and sections they handle.
Each week, many of these teachers have to print thousands of pages of
these learning materials – and a lot have to use their own computers,
printers, electricity, internet, ink, and bond papers to do that because their
students could not afford to pay them.
Understanding the struggles that his teachers have to undergo, the school
head of Mahay Integrated Secondary School in Butuan Ciy bought
everyone a printer plus some reams of bond paper they can use to print
their learning modules at home.
By wisely budgeting the fund, this school head was able to ensure that the
teachers won’t have trouble printing the learning modules for the students
under their respective classes.
Of course, there’s still a long way to go before the school year ends. That
means these teachers will near more ink and bond papers in the future, yet
it is amazing that they were all able to receive free materials instead of
having to use their own money to do it, like many teachers actually do
across the Philippine
Sir Peterson A. Oropa , the school head , earned admiration from teachers
and netizens alike for the wise decision she made in buying printers and
bond papers for the teachers. She was able to achieve this by using the
school’s MOOE funds
