We chose these five titles for our research because we believe that
these titles are not only interesting for the readers but also most of
these are related to what is happening right now.

1. THE EFFECTS OF MOBILE GAMES ON THE ACADEMIC

PERFORMANCE OF PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS OF LDCU
- This title is interesting because we believe that this is the problem
most of the students are facing right now. Especially because of this
pandemic, most of the students cannot go outside their homes
because of the health protocols the LGU has implemented. They tend
to get bored easily and spend their day playing mobile games. We
want to know if playing mobile games can really affect their academic
performance.

Sample question
• I prefer to play online mobile games rather than go out with
classmates to have a group study.
• I cannot do my assignments in school on time because of playing
online mobile games.
• I cannot attend classes on time because of playing online mobile
games.
• I have a low grade in most of my subjects because of playing
online mobile grades

2. IMPACTS OF SLEEP INSUFFICIENCY ON THE ACADEMIC

PERFORMANCE OF PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS OF LDCU
-this title is a common problem most of the students are facing even
way before the pandemic started. We want to understand and to
know what is the reason of students who has insufficient of sleep and
what affects to their academic performance.

How academic performance is affected by a lack of sleep research?

• Does sleep affect grades?
• When do you go to bed?
• What time do you typically wake up and begin activities of your
day? • How many hours of sleep do you typically obtain at night?
• How many daytime naps do you take in a typical school week?

3. THE IMPACT OF COVID 19 PANDEMIC ON THE ACADEMIC

PERFORMANCE
- we chose this because this is we wanted to know the impact of
covid 19 on a students academic performance.

4. GENERATION Y EMPLOYEES’ MOTIVATION AND JOB

SATISFACTION
- This title is very close to our hearts, and we know that this topic will
also interest the readers because we know they can also relate in
this. This topic will give us understanding about employee’s reason
for their job motivation that correlates their job satisfaction or is their
any differences or are they not connected? Aside from that we have
experienced being an employee before as a Service crew in a fast
food chain and as a sales associate in a food brand. Also, we chose
 this title because we believe that motivation is a very important
aspect in any workplace.

5. GENERATION X FACULTIES MOTIVATION AND JOB SATISFACTION

- this last title is also close to our hearts because we believe that faculty
members are the most important group of professionals for our nation’s
future. Therefore, it is disturbing to find that many of today’s teachers
are dissatisfied with their jobs. We chose this because we want to know
if the faculties’ motivation leads to increased levels of academic
achievement, or are they satisfied only but not motivated? We want to
know the relationship of their motivation and job satisfaction as a faculty
member.
