1 OVERVIEW
1.1 Purpose
This procedure describes a guideline for maintenance task and activities of Preventive
Maintenance Refrigerator. This procedure is developed based on maintenance
strategy detail analysis, isolation and safety precautions that must be taken into
account for safe maintenance activities.

However, time goes by and the continuous use of fans, maintenance is needed so that
the refrigerator is not damaged. Some of the damages that occurred were such as
completely dead refrigerator, refrigerator leak, dirty evaporator, and others.
During operation, the refrigerator period can be ensured by the following processes:
• Corrosion
• Short circuit
• The room temperature is wrong
• Chipped cables
• Refrain leakage
• Operations that are overused
• Normal aging

2.2.2 Special PPE must be worn where required for the specific job or the location:
a) The compressor has a high temperature, wear gloves to avoid a burning
sensation
b) Use an insulation mat to prevent electric shock
c) Stop using and unplug the supply cord when failure occurs
