1. Please submit the bill of materials for the submitted structural drawings.

WAPCOS REPLY:-
a) One addition member SA 11A included in middle cross of submitted BoM. May please
correct the same.
b) The number of pieces for member number SA 29 is 2 which is supposed to be 1. May
please correct the same in BoM.
c) The length of member number SA 40L in BoM is not matching with submitted drawing.
d) The length of plate number SA 46 in BoM is not matching with submitted drawing.
e) Please change the name of member SA 50A to SA 50X in BoM with respect to drawing.
f) The quantity for member number SA 225,226,227 & 228 in BoM should be 4 each as per
members considered in projected area calculation in both faces of approved SA tower
design.
g) Member name SA 241 with size 97x8x282 should be changed to SA 244 in BoM.
h) The length of member number SA 250 in BoM is not matching with submitted drawing.
i) The length & number of member for member number SA 214,221 & 295 in BoM is not
matching with approved design of SA tower.
j) The length & number of member for member number SA 304 in BoM is not matching with
approved design of SA tower.
k) The number of pieces for member number SA 353H is 4 which is supposed to be 8. May
please correct the same in BoM.
l) Please change the name of member SA 400SH & 400H with length 2731 to SA 400SHX &
400HX in BoM with respect to drawing.
m) One summary sheet for BoM with details of normal tower weight along with extensions
(with separate column of tower member weight & nut bolt weight) to be submitted along
with BoM. 

2. Please give the zoom view of butt and gusset joints with sectional view.
Reply: - The same can be detailed in our shop drawing but for easy understanding we have given
the spliced zoom view.

3. Number plate & Bird guard arrangement should be provided as per clause3.18.4 of technical
specification.

4. With reference to clause 3.5.2.1(iii) of TS, no individual member should be longer than 6000mm.
But some leg members are more than 6000mm. Please clarify the same.

Reply: - Cross arm slope calculation is different from the tower slope calculation therefore it is
shown in separate diagram but for the rest of the tower the slope can be checked from the values
given Tower Slope table.

to +0m level.
