4. Verify the following listed item with received inputs from API.
a) For Sphere size (ID and Thk) ref. ASME calculation sheet.
b) For Inlet nozzles location, orientation size (OD Thk. and length) and edge

and edge preparation details ref. ASME calculation sheet, Lower Furnace Side,
preparation details ref. ASME calculation sheet., if size is not available then use
the 2” Socket weld end connection for drain nozzle as per API Standard.
e) provide the Taping 1” Socket weld end connection, for location ref. attached
sketch no.
h) Manhole hinge plate Thk. and manhole groove details ref. ASME calculation
sheet.
j). For nozzle edge preparation and tolerance ref. ASME calculation sheet.
5. Two spheres located above the lower furnace ring header, one is front side and
other one is rear side. The lower spheres supported by the supply tubes.
