CHECKLIST FOR CONNECTING SPHERE (F-50)

1. The Connecting sphere function is to store the outlet water from Storage tank and

distribute the water to Boiler Recirculation Mixing Sphere.

2. APIL Scope is to prepare the detail drawings.

3. Collect the following inputs from API. Before start the drawings.

ASME Calculation Sheet.

Start up System arrangements drawings

3D Model drawings

P & I drawings

Lifting lug location and size details.

Material specification

4. Verify the following listed item with received inputs from API.

a) For Sphere size (OD and Thk.) ref. ASME Calculation Sheet.

b) Water Inlet & outlet Nozzles location, orientation Size (OD, Thk. and length) and

Edge preparation ref. ASME calculation Sheet, Startup System Arrangement and

3D Model drawings.

c) Pressure, Temperature and Material specification ref. ASME Calculation Sheet.

d) Lifting lug location as per layout ref. attached sketch No. LIFT-1

e) For Nozzle edge preparation and tolerance ref. ASME calculation sheet.

5. No Internals and manhole

6. No separate supports required for sphere, the total load would take care by

connecting pipes.

7. No stubs and support lugs allowed on Circumference weld.

8. Provide Erection lugs for Outlet Nozzle as per the API standard.

9. In BOM, Unit and total weight are in Kgs.

10. Provide the necessary views, details and welding details as per the reference

drgs.
