INTRODUCTORY CONCEPT
Two triangles are congruent if the six pairs of corresponding parts are
congruent. However, it is not necessary to compare all the six pairs of corresponding
parts to establish triangle congruence. This Learning Activity Sheet will help you show
the triangle congruence of two triangles by comparing only three pairs of
corresponding parts.
After going through this activity sheet, you are expected to illustrate SAS,
ASA and SSS congruence postulates (M8GE-IIId-e-1)

2. Side-Angle-Side (SAS) Congruence Postulate
If two sides and an included angle of one triangle are congruent
to the corresponding two sides and the included angle of another
triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
