Summer Assignment

Dear Students,

Wishing you good health and happiness all year round! This pandemic has evolved us and
made us learn some serious lessons of life. One of it being exploiting the opportunity to
learn something new every time. Summertime is such time to hone our skills and bring out
the best version of ourselves. We, OSDAV have carefully drafted an Assignment for you to
enhance your skills and bring out each one’s creativity. Please find below the tasks for the
Summer Vacation and submit the same after the vacation

• Make a presentation/video/documentary on Child Labour with appropriate picture.

You can give your presentation your own voice commentary.

• Read the chapter ‘The Lost Spring’ and draft questions for the same (as a
comprehension). Also, make sure that all the questions should have valid answers.
Also prepare an answer key to the same.

• Imagine visiting a city of your dreams and create a virtual tour (in a form of a video)
for that city. Name your fictitious city. Invite the tourists by drafting an attractive
Brochure for the city.
*VIRTUAL TOUR should have appropriate picture and a voice over introducing the places,
the monuments, the streets, the important buildings, office area, shopping complex,
eateries, population and its people.
• Draft an e-newspaper /book review/news report for broadcast media as an Anchor
on the current positive topic.

This summer assignment will determine &appraise your Creativity and Imagination in
addition to evaluate your language skills, we expect you to be authentic and individualistic
in your approach.
