Annual Sports Meet 2018-19
1. Introduction Speech:-
 CP: “Sports improves our competence,
Brings into life top level Brilliance.
Sports bring out our mettle,
Give strength to face Life’s battle.
Sports are the key to self-reliance,
Way to accept mistakes without defiance.
Sports illuminates Team spirit,
Inculcated in students this noble habit.
Sports makes a boy a man,
Builds their strength ten on ten.”

 DV: A Very Good Afternoon to one and all present here. We are all
gathered here today for the Annual Event that is going to fill every one of us
with oodles of ‘Power’, ‘Self-confidence’ and of course ‘Winning Spirit’. We
are soon going to see competitive spirit reaching to greater heights, happy
cheers, the joys of winning and pride of giving our best. The event which I
am talking about is one of our Favorite ‘Annual Sports Day’. Let’s hoot and
show to the world that we are energetic students of Bharat Jyoti Vidyalaya
and show our Tip to Toe energy to everybody.

2. Introduction and Welcoming of Chief Guests:-

 CP: Now, we have our chief guest arrived at the gate of BJV escorted by
the Cabinet Members. As they have arrived, the magic has spread in the
environment. It’s time for us to welcome them with a great round of
applause.
 DV: Sports are one of the most happening thrills of life. Sports are
something that teaches a human many qualities like dedication, leadership,
discipline, etc. It’s a well-known fact that any form of physical exercise is
good not only for one’s body but their spirit as well. Playing a sport is a
winning combination both figuratively and literally and that’s why we lay
special focus on awakening the sports talent of the students and then
display the same at our Annual Sports Day.

 CP: Today is a great pleasure for us to have great personalities, Dr. R.P.
Tiwari, the Additional Collector of Anuppur Distt., honorable Chief Guest
of today’s Programme, our guest of honor, Mr. D.S. Rao, the Assistant
Commissioner Tribal of Anuppur and Very Rev. Fr. Abraham T.A., the
President of J.D.E.S.

3. Prayer Dance:-
 Ojal: Prayer is not asking. It is longing of the soul and listening to God’s
voice in the depth of our hearts. Dance is the hidden language of the soul.
Dance is the beautiful form of expression of human’s feeling. Dancers are
the messengers of God. So, let us see the prayer Dance.

 Ojal: Very well depicted through this Prayer Dance. God helps each on
one of us.

4. Welcome Speech (By Rev. Fr. Bipin Xalxo):-


 Ojal: An idol of knowledge, and experience and inspiration to all of us.
We welcome our Rev. Fr. Bipin Xalxo to welcome our honorable Chief
Guests and respected dignitaries. May I request our Rev. Fr. Bipin Xalxo,
respected Principal Sr. Joyce and our sports captain Master Shivanshu to
welcome them with a bouquet and badge.

5. Opening Ceremony (Flag hoisting):-


 Chhavi: Let’s start our Annual Sports Day with Flag Hoisting. I request
our Sports Captain and vice-captain to escort. I would like to call our
esteemed Chief Guest Dr. R.P. Tiwari, Rev. Fr. Bipin Xalxo, Respected
Principal Sr. Joyce to hoist the pride of our School, our School Flag. Please
join us in hoisting our School Flag and show our respect towards the same.
(After Hoisting)
 Chhavi: Thank you so much everyone. May our flag keep soaring high
and our nation keep on prospering to great heights.

6. Declaration of Sports Meet Open:-


 Chhavi: Now, I request our honorable Chief Guest Dr. R.P. Tiwari to
declare the third Annual Sports Meet Open.
(After Declaration)

 Chhavi: Thank you sir.

7. Lighting the Olympic Torch:-

 AT: Now, it’s time to light the Olympic Flame which ignite the
passion of sporting spirit. The flame represents the endeavor for
protection and struggle for victory. The flame symbolizes ‘the light of
spirit, knowledge and life.’
 CT: which is also the motto of our school to remove darkness and
enlighten the every corner of the world. It’s time for calling our Chief
Guest Dr. R.P. Tiwari to light the Olympic Torch.
 AT: The first torch bearer of Olympic flame is Master Shivanshu
Dubey, Sports Captain, an outstanding sports person.
 CT: Now, the Olympic torch is passed on to Master Praveen Gour,
the Red House Captain.
 AT: Next, it is handed over to Master Raunak Kesharwani, the Blue
House Captain, who exhibits good leadership qualities and an
outstanding sports man.
 CT: The chance of taking over the torch now goes to Mater Aditya
Singh, the Captain of Green House.
 AT: Now, at last but not the least, the torch is handed over to the
Captain of Yellow House, Master Sahil Ekka.
 CT: Finally, the Olympic torch is handed over to our PT teacher Mr.
Dhaniram Sir to keep the torch in its place.
 AT: The flame of peace and harmony is now lit in our school
premises and may this light glow to remove darkness in the lives of all.
8. March Past:-
 Anadi: March Past is all about synchronization and team work.
Marching in a contingent demands alertness and an unspoken co-
ordination.

 DV: The drumbeat rolls, the band strikes up and a high pitched voice
issues a command. The synchronized swing of arms and the thudding feet
stir something within us.

 CP: We are extremely glad to introduce the four distinctive houses,


namely – Green House, Red House, Yellow House and Blue House.

 Chhavi: Here, the march past begins. Right in front marching Master
Harshit Gupta and Vice-captain Miss Shrestha Dwivedi guides the entire
parade of cadets.

 AT: Followed by Master Shivanshu Dubey, the Sports Captain is a


responsible organizer, well-mannered person, proves Excellency in sports
field.

 AT: Now, at your sight gracious march of Green House dressed in


green symbolizes nature, generosity and fertility led by Captain Miss
Abhilasha Gupta who is a good speaker and an athlete and the vice-captain
Master Aditya Singh proves Excellency in the academic record.

 Chhavi: Now, Red House is marching majestically in front, dressed in


red symbolizes passion, power, sincerity and strength. Followed by the
captain Miss Anamika Singh Rathore and the vice-captain Master Praveen
Gour.

 AT: Now watching the adorable marching of Yellow House dressed in


yellow symbolizes joy, happiness, optimism, idealism led by captain Miss
Khushi Gupta who is an excellent player has a good team spirit and the vice-
captain Master Sahil Ekka is good player.

 Chhavi: Each house is represented by the captain and the vice-captain.


Here, at insight is the Blue House in their blue color which symbolizes
wisdom, trust, loyalty and strength led by captain Miss Nandini Gupta is a
good dancer and the vice-captain Master Raunak Kesharwani who is
renewed athlete and an excellent indoor games player.

 AT: Now at your sight is the glimpse of Bharat Mata, the


representatives of different cultures of states showing unity in diversity,
along with the protectors of our country representing of all the three
forces:- Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.

9. Oath Taking:-
 CP: Now it’s time to swear. The Olympic Oath is taken by our School
Head Boy Master Harshit Gupta to abide the rules and regulations to
participate in the sports with true spirit of sportsmanship.

 CP: Thank you Harshit Gupta. The oath was taken solemnly.

 AT: That was a great performance by the little twinkles and hope it was
phenomenal for you too.

11.100 Mt. Race:-


Finally, after this track event we have 100 mt. race girls athlete.

12. Kids Games:-


 CP: Challenges are gifts that force us to search for a new way. Don’t
fight them. Just find a new way to stand.
 DV: So, here we have our little kids who finds the way to cross the
different hurdles to achieve their aims.

 CP: Let’s everyone appreciate our little kids with a big round of
applause.
13. Mass Drill:-
 AT: So, here are our 3rd class students use amazing props to use it in
their drills. These drills are designed to work on foot and can be helpful in
developing skills for a multitude of sports including football and basketball.

 AT: Impressive displays put up by Class 3rd uniformed students with
amazing props. These drills usually focus on skills needed to play different
sporting activities such as speed, balance and sharp reflexes.

14. Hurdle Race:-


 AT: Let’s actually get this ball in the court and knock it out of the
park. Let’s see who will be the front runners and who will drop the
ball?
 AT: Now let’s call our energetic students for hurdle race.

15. Prize Distribution:-


 A winner is not someone, who is a born winner, instead a winner is
someone who put “Plan to win”, “Prepare to win” and “Aspect to
win.”
 Now its time to honor our winner we kindly request our chief guest
Dr. R.P. Tiwari to honor the winners with medals and certificates.

 Thank you sir for encouraging the students, through your kind
words. Now as an appreciation for Dr. R.P. Tiwari, our honorable
Chief Guest for the time and valuable input he had with us all today.
I would like to call upon our Rev. Fr. Bipin Xalxo to present a
momento as a token of love and appreciation to our Chief Guest.
16. Chief Guest Message:-
 Ojal: Successful people maintain good habits that go hand in hand
with success is every area of endeavor which develops a reputation.
The way one work, determines the quality and quantity of rewards.
Among us we have one such great person today. Yes, we now request
our honorable chief guest Dr. R.P. Tiwari to give message.

18. Relay Race (Boys &Girls):-


 Chhavi: Champions are not made in Gems. Champions are made from
something. They deep insight, a desire, a dream, a vision. Now, here we
have inter-house relay race competition for boys and girls. So, let’s call the
participants among the boys of –

19. Group Game (3 & 4 Boys):-


 CP: Champions keep playing until they get it right. There are
moments when suddenly our blink open and we recapture the
excitement of living. Life becomes an adventure and we adventurers.
 CP: Now let’s call the little adventurers of BJV to play a game full of
adventure.

20. Tik Tik Plastic:-

 AT: Be the hero, save the world, not by fighting but by avoiding the
plastic bags. So, here we have a beautiful awakening program giving a
message of saying a NO to plastic. Let’s give a big round of applause for
our performers.
21. Prize Distribution (1 to 5):-

 The destiny of hard work is always success. You have done hard
work and got succeed. Congratulations to all the winners. Now, I
request our guest of honor respected Mr. D.S. Rao to please bless
the winner with your blessings and well wishes.
22. Message by the Guest of Honor:-

 The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible and
achieve the impossible.
 Now, may I request Mr. D.S. Rao our guest of honor to please share
his experience and knowledge with the students.
 Thank you so much sir for your kind words and guidance.

 Now, I would like to call our respected Principal Sister Joyce to give
memento to our guest of honor, Mr. D.S. Rao as a token of love. We
thank you sir, for giving your precious time to us and for our
contribution in making the program more beautiful by your
presence.

23. Aerobic:-

 Chhavi: Aerobic and Kudo are important part of sports display


which requires amazing discipline, flexibility, fitness and knowledge.

 For the practice of love,


For the preservation of life,
For the preservation of body,
For the preservation of family and friends.

 So, here the BJVians are ready to show the performance full of
energy and stamina.

 What a performance? It has given us goosebumps.

24. 100 Mt. Race (Jr.Boys ):-


 AT: Now on the track the finalists of 100mt. running race of Junior
Boys from all the four houses. The participants are from Blue House,
Green House, Yellow House and Red House. Come on lets put our
hands together to encourage the participants.
From Yellow House we have - Sahil Ekka, Aishwarya Maravi.
From Green House we have – Ramji, Mridul Mishra.
From Red House we have – Nihaal, Praveen Gour.
From Blue House we have - Raunak Kesharwani and Sahil Gupta.

25. 200 Mt. Race (Sr. Boys + Girls):-

 AT: Next on the track the finalists of 200 mt. race for the Sr. girls
and boys for the participants are of Blue House, Green House, Yellow
House and Red House.

26. Group Game (Boys):-


 CP: Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is a progress,
and working together is a success.
 Now, here we have the four houses with their energetic
participants ready with their amazing game ‘ ham saath saath hai ’
which shows the strength of team work.

27. Group Game (Girls):-


 Really, this game shows team spirit. After such an unique game of
boys, let’s see the girl’s power with a game ‘roller coaster’ which is
walking on the wheels.

28. Ex-Students Game:-

 AT: I feel deeply honored and privileged to welcome our ex-


students on this auspicious occasion of our institution.
 It’s been one year I still remember our second batch in 2018, your
faces are still so fresh dear Bhaiya and Didi.

 A very warm welcome to all of you to this Annual Sports Day of


school I appreciate this idea of inviting the ex-students which creates a
special bonding between the students who have passed out and who
had established themselves already in the big outside world. I believe
this occasion is a perfect platform for you all to meet your peers and
teachers and revive the contacts.

 As keeping the same relationship with you all, we have arranged a


game for you that is 100 mt. race.

 So, come on everyone. Let’s cheer up for the competition of our ex


– students.

29. Women Empowerment:-

 Girls are the pillars of the society. Continuation of life is not


possible without them. A small girl can be a good daughter, a sister, a
wife and a mother in future. If we kill the girls before birth or do not
take care of them after birth, then we will not get a loving daughter, a
sister, a wife, a mother in future.
 Now, please may I hear a thunder of claps for JAGO BHARAT
performers.
30. Prize Distribution (6 to 10):-

 Now, it’s time for the final prize distribution.


 Roses are red, violets are blue.
Congratulations are in order, we are so happy for you.
 Our institution has always provided its students with a healthy and
fairly competitive environment to help them grow in every sphere
of activities, be it academics, sports or any other extra-curricular
role. We have given equal opportunities to all our students to
realize their true potential and get ready to face the outer world.
Once they complete their school studies. Also, I would like to
encourage those students and team who have not won any prize
that their will be many more opportunities coming your way to
prove your mettle.
 I have a very inspiring line for all of you, said by George W. Bush,
the former President of United States.
 “To those pf you who received honor, awards and distinctions. I
say, well done. And to the C students, I say, you too, can be the
President of United States.
 I am very acknowledge by the achievements of our brilliant
students who have made both the schools and their parents proud
and have made an immense contribution to our school and society.
 So may I request our respected Fr. Abraham T.A., the vice-
president of J.D.E.S. to honor the winner with awards.

 Ladies and Gentleman our participants are so talented who can be


so versatile, they can do their job really. We and that’s proven right
in front of you.
 Now, I request you to put your hands together for our particpants.

34. Closing Ceremony:-
 Chhavi: The fun filled our Annual Sports Meet comes to end. The
participants were at their best exhibiting spirit of competition and
enthusiasm. Really thankful to you all for providing this exciting
moment. I congratulate the winners and the participants both
because these parts make the whole success. So, let’s move towards
the closing ceremony.

 CP: Now, we can see the House captains leading towards the flag
host and with a very heavy heart we have come to end of this event.
The school flag signifies an academic excellence, pride, courage and
honor as well as bravery.
 Now, the flag is being lowered by Mr. D.S. Rao, the Guest of Honor.
 Our School Flag is now been held by the respective house captains
from Blue House we have Miss Nandini Gupta, from Red House we
have Miss Anamika Singh Rathore, from Green House we have Miss
Abhilasha Gupta, and from Yellow House we have Miss Khushi Gupta,
are now leading the flag.
 They now proceed to fold the flag.
 The flag is now handed over to our school captain Master Harshit
Gupta who is marching towards the front to hand over the flag to our
PT teacher Mr. Dhaniram Sir.
 Now our school flag is handed over to our school Principal beloved
Sr. Joyce to preserve it for the next year.
35. National Anthem:-
 CP: Let us all stand for the National Anthem.
