Earthquake

Do you know what is earthquake? Earthquake is one of many natural disasters in

this world. Earthquake make people feel like the earth is shaking. It often happens in
Indonesia and Japan. Indonesia and Japan are easy to happen this earthquakes because
located in pasific ring of fire. Indonesia also located on three plates, namely the Eurasian
Plate, the Pacific Plate and the Indo-Australian Plate. Recently, an earthquake has shaken
Malang, Jawa Timur, Indonesia with a scale of 6,7 sr. It cause damage in several places
in Malang.Usually, Earthquake located in sea, and it has potential to be tsunami.
Basically Earthquake have 2 types of causes, the one is tectonic earthquake, and the other
one is volcanic earthquake.
Tectonic earthquake happen when earth plates move or crash each other. The
earth has plates that arranged and form the structure of the earth's layer. These plates is
verry big. They always move slowly and crash with each other. The activity from the
movement of these plates will cause vibrations on the earth. Sometimes when they move
fast and crash so hard the vibrations will feels up to earth surface.Well, this vibration is
called tectonic earthquake. Volcanic earthquake are earthquakes caused by volcanic
events, either before, during or after a volcanic eruption. The magma that comes out from
the volcanic pipes is shifted along with the rock and its cause vibrations. This happens
when a volcano is about to erupt, so that a volcanic earthquake can signal the activity of
the volcano.
So, earthquake have two causes, the first because of the earth plates who move or
crash and make a vibration that called tectonic earthquake. And the other one is caused
by volcanic eruption that called volcanic earthquake. All of the earthquake can make a
damage to the earth surface. And the earthquake that happen in sea have potential to be
tsunami.
