Cam and Tappet Width Increase on PS-26D, VS-26D, DS-22 and DV-22 Engines
SK 53-07

In order to reduce peeling of cam surface


the effective surface pressure has been
decreased by increasing the width of the
cam and tappet roller.

In addition the fuel oil cam profile


has been modified for the same reason
(see figure 1).

Modification dates: (changes are applicable after)

In case of applying new cams and rollers


the fuel oil pump mounting and tappet
guide should be changed as follows:
