Q1. List down three cells you wish to apply for in decreasing order of preference.
Preference 1: Events Cell
Preference 2: Web Communication Cell
Preference 3: Creatives Cell
Q2. Why are you interested in cells that you have chosen as your three preferences?
[Maximum ~50 words for each preference]
Preference 1:
I was the Departmental Representative, who is responsible for conducting various events
within the department and was the Head of events to a departmental fest which had a footfall
of 1000 + and 10+ events and has demonstrated experience in managing and organising events
back at IIT Kharagpur, I love taking responsibilities and that this what drives me to take this as
my first preference.

Preference 2:

I have the working knowledge in creating web applications during my 2 years tenure as a
software development engineer. I worked on React and Angular etc. and have worked from the
viewpoint of a product manager. I believe that this cell would be able to provide me that
exposure in solving students pain points through tech during the fest.

Preference 3:
I love making poster designs in photoshop and have held the position of Head of Design team
in the fest and society back at IIT Kharagpur. I love taking responsibility and would be able to
contribute to this cell from this experience of mine.
Q3. Any prior experience in Event management or relevant Position of Responsibility held?

I was the Departmental Representative, who is responsible for conducting 10+ events within
the department and coordinating more than 120+ people of the department for the events.
I was also the Head of events to a departmental fest which had a footfall of 1000 + and 10+
events and has demonstrated experience in managing and organising events back at IIT
Kharagpur.

Q4. For the cell of your 1st preference, suggest two new initiatives that you think can be
incorporated into the cell. Alternatively, you may suggest one such initiative for each of your
three preferences.

Preference 1: Events Cell

● I would want to start an Analytics - Puzzles based events that would be open to anyone
under the brand of TRBS. This can be done with the collaboration with ABACUS, IIMA.
This could be made as a formal event, where the problem statements could be focussed
on data-driven problems and the outputs to be crafted as per the vertical (financial data
etc.). I feel that this will attract a lot more audience especially from UG colleges and
would help in PR with a broader audience.

Preference 2: Web Communication Cell

● Setting up a google calendar to track and inform all the events that are gonna be
scheduled online post the payments. To issue certificates with a digital signature which
can help in unwanted forgery and would help participating students to help them
validate later.
Preference 3: Creatives Cell
● Since its gonna be an online event this time, We can focus on creating filters on social
media platforms like Facebook, linkedin, insta etc. Since most of the events would be
conducted on zoom, we can also work on creating innovative backgrounds and video
filters.
● To issue digital certificates post the event for winners and participants.
