Article : Article is a word to modify a noun it can be a place, person, thing or animal.
There are two kinds of article indefinite article and definite article.
1. Indefinite article : A and An
It used to modify or explain unspecific singular noun or general singular noun,
means that we didn’t know what noun that the speaker means because it still
general.
2. Definite article : The
It used to modify or explain specific singular / plural noun or ungeneral plural /
singular noun, means that we know what noun that the speaker means.

In indefinite noun there are A and An.

How we can differentiate using A or An?

 A is followed by a consonat sound like ( s,p,b,m,j,y) etc.

Eg:
- A pencil
- A souldier
- A book
 An is followed by vowel sound (a: , I, u:, 3:,ae, i)
Eg :
- An apple
- An elephant
- An orange
Definite article : “The”
In definite article there are no requirement like we have to pay more attention to the
consonant or vowel sound . in definite we can use both. whether the beginning
letter of the noun is either consonant or vowel sound .
For Example :
- The elephant ,
- the book,
- the pencil,
- the apple
Teacher : Hello Class.. you are already here..
Good morning.

Teacher : Yes right,
So, now we will learn about an article..
Do you know ,what an article is?
And what is the function of it?
Students : We don’t know ma’am
Teacher : An article is a word to modify a nout , it can be a person , place, animal or thing.
So guys if you want to write a single noun you have to write it at least by adding an
article so it will be correct.
There are two kinds of article indefinite article and definite article.
3. Indefinite article : A and An

means that we didn’t know what noun that the speaker means because it still
general.

singular noun, means that we know what noun that the speaker means.
