“The Training and Placement Cell centrally handles all the training activities of the
Institution and also takes care of campus placement of the graduating students in coordination
with Institute Industry Interaction Cell. It organizes on-campus and off-campus recruitments
and placement trainings in aptitude test, group discussions, interviews and presentation. Mock
interviews are regular to equip pre-final and final students to face the challenges of recruitment
scenario.”
First year, students oriented for college environment with emphasis on social, ethical, moral and
professional behavior. Students mostly hailing from rural and in transformational age, special
English language classes and apt motivational programs like yoga, meditation programs
provided to empower their attitude.
Second year, students’ linguistic proficiency enhanced providing communication & other soft-
skills. Personality development is of high importance to improve individual professional
ethicality and succeed in the impending careers in the industry.
Pre-final is the year of placement training, hence students refined their communication skills;
acquires aptitude of quantitative and verbal abilities, participates in group discussion, faces
interviewing personnel and develops resume writing skills through professionals.
In the final year opening semester, students are well prepared in resume building, face rigorous
mock tests, attend group discussions, and better perform in the mock interviews thereby the
students becomes familiar with campus interviews proving Industry ready and corporate fit.
Pre-placement Talk
The Institution reviews job market trend consistently and ensure that its students are
provided with suitable training to face job market with outstanding performance and
thereby explore the best possibility of his/her placement in an industry.
Pre - Placement Training is given to students not only to perform well in placement
activities, but also to ensure that they become valuable asset to the industries in which the
student “transformed to employee” executes given assignments.
Identifying recruiting companies, inviting them and thereby arranging the campus drives.
Placements contemplated for all students timely planning and scheduled companies’ visits.
Communicates with the recruiting companies regularly for campus placement and fulfilling all
their requirements.
Review eligibility of students and conduct sessions to better prepare the visiting company.
Students are identified based on their interest also and prepare them to face the interview by
conducting sessions.
Simultaneously Off campus possibilities are also explored like job fair, pool drive, walk-in etc.
and even students sent for participation in the company if summoned.
“The lists of selected students are announced with distribution of email confirmations or offer
letters at the time of Placement Day in the presence of their parents to the best
possible extent.”
