Manco Capac or Ayar Manco

Manco Capac: or Ayar Manco, was the author and first legislative leader of
the Incas, according to a Colla (legend of Manco Capac) he was a saint of
semi-divine nature, being the son of the Sun God (Inti).

Legend has it that in the districts near Lake Titicaca, men lived like wild
creatures, since they had not obtained religion, no legislative affairs, no
association.
The occupants did not know the agricultural or material strategies, so
they walked naked and lived in the caves and their diet consisted of
gathering food and hunting animals.

Seeing this reality, God Inti saw the need to send someone who could
socialize these men. Manco Capac was a semi-divine nature hero, being
the son of the Sun.

He was sent together with Mama Ocllo, with the mission of conciliating
and socializing individuals who until that moment were in complete
disorder, and in this way establish a domain to respect the God Inti.

The God Inti endowed them with the glowing bar showing that every time
they stopped to eat or rest, they should plant this glowing bar in the
ground.
In any place where it sinks without the slightest effort, Cusco will be
manufactured.

Manco Cápac and Mama Ocllo appeared among the foams of Lake
Titicaca. The locals were amazed by the lavishness of their clothes and the
splendor of their gems that made men notice that they were divine
beings.

Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo traveled north. Many days passed without
the gold bar sinking into the ground.

One morning they landed in a magnificent valley cordoned off by notable

slopes and mountains, one of the slopes called Huanacauri, where the
gleaming bar sank without much effort.

This is the means by which the land that God Inti had given them was
found. Manco Cápac and Mama Ocllo settled there.
It was there where the city of Cusco, "The Navel of the World", the capital
of the Inca Empire, must be made.

Manco Cápac tried the edifying enterprise in the Cusco valley. He showed
men agriculture, fishing, house building, science, religion, etc.

Mama Ocllo was taking care of preparing the ladies at that time for them
to do household chores and knit to make garments that would cover them
for display.
The kingdom was created by Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo
that would later make their family members extraordinary.
