• To create “New Test” click ABC SINGHANIA


on ‘Create New’.

Fill the basic details such as,


1. Test name: Eg. Physics Half Yearly 2020
2. Batch/Classroom: Select the classroom
for which you want to create the test
• Only those batch/classroom a teacher
can see which are assigned to them.
3. Test date

● All Questions are Compulsory
● Typing of response to the Question is NOT ALLOWED
● Write the Answers on separate white sheet for each question. Use BLUE/BLACK Ball Pen
only.
● Capture the image of the Sheet with your answer carefully. Preview the image, if not clear,
DELETE and re-capture.
● If on Laptop, use Web Camera to capture image, and if Mobile, use Rear Camera to capture
the image.
● Make sure you capture images of answer sheet corresponding to the respective questions
only.

• Click on activate button to start the test for students.


• The test can only be activated if all the questions in
the test are saved.
• To declare the result, first deactivate the test and then
press the evaluate button.
• Once the test result is declared, keep a copy of test
result in Google Sheet/Excel.

1.If a student try to cheat by leaving the


full screen test mode, a warning message
appears and in 4 click on the screen
anywhere in minimized mode will auto
terminate the test.
2. They have to click on FULLSCREEN BUTTON
to go back to full screen mode and
resume the test.
3. The student screen status will be visible to
teachers in live Proctoring feature tab.

1. Manual evaluate: Here teachers can evaluate the subjective type questions.
2. Update score: Submit test on behalf of the student. (If student is facing some technical issue
then teacher can submit on their behalf).
3. Delete test: You can delete test. This will allow student to reappear.
4. Extra time: Give extra time to any student.
5. Enable resume: Student can resume their test from where they had left.

Test Portal > “Additional Features”

1. COPY TO tab allows teachers to share their papers with other teachers. Once they select teachers
and send it to them, the paper will be visible in their account, only need to update the class.
2. CHANGE AUTHOR tab allows admins and teachers to change the author of the paper.
3. LOCK TEST is used by admins to lock the test after it is conducted.

ASSIGNING A PROCTOR (INVIGILATOR)

Q. Who will assign the proctor?


A: Admin will/can assign a proctor or the Paper Setter Teacher

How to assign the proctor?

1 Go to test list > Click on the “More” of the test for the

proctor need to be assigned
2 Click on assign proctor

3 Select the name of the proctor to be assigned.

4 Click on “Save” the proctors will be assigned.


HOW TO PROCTOR?
• Only teachers can proctor the test.
• Teachers can proctor only that test which is assigned to them.
How to check which test is assigned to the teacher?
• Login to your teacher’s portal
•1 Click on “Proctor” as shown.

Resume the test

You can Resume the Test of a particular student when,

1. He has Submitted the test by mistake within the Time


2. Auto terminate due to any reason (Electricity Failure/Network Failure)
3. If you are not able to resume from screen proctoring > in this case you can resume through SAT option.
SAT (Master options)

• In case if you are not able to “Enable Resume” student from the screen proctoring options. You can use SAT
option. This resume button is master resume button.
• Update score: Means submission of test on behalf of the student.

OTHER FEATURES
Copy to: Send your question paper copy to your colleague. It will create a separate
question paper copy in their account. It will be independent of your question paper.
Change author: Author is the owner of the paper. He/she controls the paper. If you
want to make some other teacher as author of your paper, then you can click on change
author and select the teacher.
Assign proctor: Multiple proctors can be assigned for one test. Click on assign proctors
and select the teacher(s). The test will be in the “proctor” tab in their teacher’s account.
Publish/unpublish result: Once the test is conducted and the answers are evaluated.
Click on “publish result” to publish the result with their answer sheet in students
account. Teachers can also “unpublish result” as per their requirement.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clear CACHE daily before login. Press Ctrl + Shift + delete and clear cache. (Applicable for
both students and teachers)
2. We highly recommend you to create 1 test at one time and complete all the questions before
clicking on DONE tab. Because during editing, you might face issue.
3. If the test is saved without providing all the questions and answers, by default test will be
saved but it can not be ACTIVATED.
4. If you only want to edit questions, instead of following slide 13-14, you can directly click on
QUESTIONS tab and edit them and SAVE and then click on DONE.
5. For HINDI/SANSKRIT paper, we suggest you all to use snipping tool method (Video tutorial
will be provided).
6. Use PREVIEW option as shown in the image to verify the
question added.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Not able to login with your teacher id: Contact admin to verify your email id and
password.
2. Not able to view batch/classroom: Kindly request admin to assign you a classroom
3. If the website is not responding or data is not updating. Press (Ctrl + Shift + R).
4. Test format issue:
a) Not able to save format: Number of questions, maximum marks should have
proper calculation. Make sure to fill all the details correctly.
b) Not able to view save questions in test: Refresh your browser. If the problem
persists immediately contact ThinkMerit support team.
