Property Market Analysis

Real estate market analysis guides the many decision-makers; in both the
private and the public sectors - involved in real estate development. To
minimise the risks to and maximise the opportunities in real estate
development.
For this scenario-based assignment, students must provide a comparative
analysis of property market report by Malaysian’s city area focus on retails
building. In the report, students need to analyse the property sector from the
year 2016 until the year 2020. Those data and analysis must consider the factor
of supply and demand.

1. INTRODUCTION

This Individual Assessment has been designed to assist you in providing a


comparative analysis of property market report by Malaysian’s city area
focus on retails building market.

2. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
By completing this assignment, students are expected to be able to:
explain built environment market principles as they apply to an industry-
related project.

3. SUBMISSION AND ASSESSMENT

The dateline for submission of the report is by: 19th May 2021, 4pm.
Submission of the Assignment Report is on week 16 and presentation on
week 14.
Softcopy of the Report to be submitted (or uploaded) to the LJMU
Canvas on the stipulated date on or before 4pm. Any problems should
be notified to your tutor or lecturer before the dateline. Work uploaded
after the dateline will not receive any mark in accordance with LJMU
assessment regulations. It is essential to keep a soft copy of the work
submitted and the submission receipt.

5. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FORMAT
The technical requirements of the written submission are as detailed
below:
a. The length of the written submission should not exceed 2500 words. This
total is inclusive of the report narrative (not including appendices). The
report is inclusive of plans, photograph and data.
b. Use Times New Roman 12-points and 1.5 spacing throughout (with
adequate spacing between paragraphs) except for heading and title
pages.
c. Use an appropriate front cover. A template will be made available.

Students are required to submit the assignments given in written document


on individually basis. This module contributes 100% of total module mark for
LJMU with 65% from written report/portfolio, 25% from presentation and 10%
from reflective statement.

Presentation Brief (10%)

Based on the Assignment Report, students are required to do 10 minutes


presentation outlining the property market report in the above mentioned
aspects.

ii. Students are required to wear proper attire during presentation
iii. Upload softcopy of slides presentation to LJMU Canvas before the
presentation.
iv. Any problems should be notified to your tutor or lecturer before the dateline.
