Answer the following questions about yourself as fully and precisely as you can.

Please answer in a separate Google Docs or MS Word format not in PDF.

1. How do you feel as you do the Debit Card Challenge?

We are all different in handling our own money and most people spend the
money in a very short time while others stay grounded and continue as if nothing
happened. I think the most important thing to remember is that it’s important to
figure out what thing makes us really happy (dancing in air happy) and feel a
sense of value before we have a lot of money because it doesn’t change once you
have it. Remember, happiness doesn’t need to be expensive, it should be
genuine. Also, I noticed that I am more into thinking or putting others first more
than focusing only on my needs and wants. I am indeed a selfless person, I think
less about myself, and more about others. Seeing them happy because of my
small act, makes me happy too (that’s why).

2. Which among the items in your list you like the most? Why?
Number 14 on my list – Since I love taking care of pets, I would probably start up a
big shelter for all the stray cats and dogs nearby. Shelters with proper places to
play, food to eat and complete medical care and assistance. I would like to give
priority to ill pets. I've always believed that happiness comes from helping
without expecting anything in return. Seeing them showing their love and
affection towards me is so satisfying and overwhelming. And with that, doing that
would probably a thing that makes my heart happy.

3. If ever you were given the chance in real life to have one among the list,
which would you choose? Why?
Number 9 on my list, I will probably help those students who cannot pay for their
college (tuition, miscellaneous fee and such), since there are a lot of students
within our area that are in college debt. I would love to give full scholarships for
those students who can't afford paying their tuitions. My priority would be those
students of our local farmers.
I want to at least lessen their expenses. Getting a scholarship from me takes away
all their financial concerns. Thus, it gives them more time to study, gain
knowledge and secure better grades.

4. Make a reflection paper about material self. You may use your answers
from the debit card challenge in making your paper.
Happiness doesn’t need to be that expensive, it should be genuine. Also, I noticed
that I am more into thinking or putting others first more than focusing only on my
needs and wants. I am indeed a selfless person, I think less about myself, and
more about others. I find pleasure in helping others every time I see happiness on
their faces (as a return, I guess). I look for opportunity to contribute and to
support them in a way that I can. I prefer to volunteer my time and skills to help
them as well. Helping is one of those acts that puts a smile on my face and makes
my heart dancing in air happy. It has always been something I've loved to do and
will always love to do, and no amount of money is going to change that thing on
me. ❤️️

Being selfless helps squash our egos because we are not acting out of our pride
anymore or for a desire to be noticed by someone. Selflessness helps us to act
from our heart and soul instead of our ego, tapping into our real desired feelings.

Be kind, do good not only for yourself but also to those people around you.
