Multiplying and Dividing by Powers of Ten
Sup Topic Rounding

Students will learn how to :


- Multiply and divide numbers by 10 to the power of any positive or negative integer
Objectives - Round numbers to a given number of decimal places or significant figures, use rounding to give solutions to
problem with an appropriate degree of accuracy

Guidance/ Character
- Creativity, honesty, discipline, hard work, responsibility, and religious

⮚ First meeting (2 x 30’)


ACTIVITIES METHOD
Pre-activities/ Warm up - Greeting
(5 minutes) - Praying
- Checking the attendance
- Motivating students to keep improving their performance
- Mentioning the agenda and the objectives of the lesson today

Main Activities - Students and teacher do a review from the last meeting through the slides which is about multiplying and
(50 minutes) dividing decimals mentally
Method:lecturer,discussion - Online class discussion on multiplying and dividing by powers of 10
, problem solving - Online class discussion on rounding
- Students do assessment on google slides while discussing the subtopics [assessment]
- Students work and activeness in participating the class are graded

Closing - Students are randomly chosen to conclude the lesson of the day
(5 minutes) - Teacher gives general conclusion of the lesson of the day
- Students are given some constructive feedback
- Students listen to the agenda for the next meeting
- Greeting

Note: -Materials, quiz, homework have to be enclosed - Assessment format depends on the subject teacher
