INGREDIENTS

⁄4 cup (25g) rolled oats (or brown rice flakes or quinoa flakes if gluten free)

⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon

⁄2 tsp baking powder

⁄4 tsp baking soda

3 cup (100g) honey (brown rice syrup or maple syrup) warmed
1 Preheat oven to 355°F and line a 8 x 8 inch baking tin with baking paper.
2 Blend all ingredients, except choc chips, in a food processor and puree until smooth. Gradually add
sufficient water to help loosen mixture a little and scrape down the sides. Pour batter into prepared
tray, scatter over choc chips, and press gently over the surface.
3 Bake for 25 minutes, or until slice feels firm to touch and mixture is pulling away from the sides.
Don’t be tempted to overcook, they will set more on cooling.
