ELEMENTS OF INTERIOR CONTEMPORARY DESIGNS 

Contemporary designs refers to the current era, subtle sophistication, deliberate

use of texture and clean lines.  Interiors focus on space enhanced by colours, 
shapes and lighting and is appropriate for offices, stores, lofts and traditional 
homes. Designers also take into consideration smart connectivity and global 
trends. 

This design has a subtle and unified appeal, standing out is the wooden partition 
to the right with a concept of framed brambled, accent vase and planter adds 
emphasis.  In clear view is the textured recessed wall which spans the entire 
length of wall by sofa space and the area rug adds movement.  The tray ceiling is 
enhanced with linear lighting, framing an elegant chandelier, while the recess, 
accent lights and lamps luminates the overall décor. The furnishing forms the 
perfect compliment and floors wall treatment are of neutral and earthy shades 
creating contrast within the space.

Very defined lines in the furniture layout and contrasting colours in the backdrop 
of this TV room, simple but elegant décor. The position of the audio system and 
plants creates an almost perfect balance.  The spiral designed and highly durable 
stainless steel staircase gives movement and is definitely a main focal point.  It 
overlooks a large window thus bringing outside in view which adds natural light in 
daytime.  The highly polished Oak Floors adds warmth to the room.

This simply elegant bedroom, features pendant lights on either sides of bed in 
addition recess lighting creating a glow to the general perimeter with accent lights 
directed at the upholstered headboard.  The creative designed ottoman sofa 
bench adds a focal point to décor and a little taste of nature in greenery is placed 
in a corner.

Located on a beach front is this ultra contemporary space designed for dining.  It 
overlooks the ocean which gives of its natural rhythm or movement, boasting 
glass windows for transparency of the panoramic view. Very modern furnishing 
and floor lamps to create an ambiance at night.
