NOMINAL DURATION : 120 hrs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION : The core competencies covers the competency on


stake-out building lines, fabricate formworks,
install/strip form works, install framing works, install
architectural ceiling/wall sheats/panels and floor
finishes and fabricate/install door/window jambs and
panels.

PREREQUISITE : General knowledge in Furniture and Cabinet Making

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:

 Wall studs are identified, measured and cut based on working drawings and
specifications with tolerance of + 3mm maximum on all measurements
 Horizontal studs are laid–out and installed based on working drawings and
specifications with tolerance of + 3mm maximum on all measurements
 Unexpected situations are dealt with according to company rules and
regulations
 Appropriate PPE are used according to OSHC regulations
 Housekeeping is performed according to safety standards and regulations
