Course Description : The COMPUTER SYSTEMS


SERVICING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that must
possess to enable to install and configure computers systems, set-up
computer networks and servers and to maintain and repair computer
systems and networks.

Trainee Entry

A person who has achieved this Qualification is competent to be:

 Computer Assembler
 Computer Service Technician
 Network Technician
Computer Maintenance Technician

Requirements: Trainees or students should possess the following


requirements:

 can communicate both in oral and written;


 physically and mentally fit;
 with good moral character; and
 can perform basic mathematical computation.

Module Descriptor : This unit covers the knowledge,


skills and attitudes needed to set-up computer servers for LANs and
SOHO systems. It consists of competencies to set-up user access and
configures network services as well as to perform testing,
documentation and pre-deployment procedures.
