SCOPE OF WORK

1. REFERENCED DOCUMENTS

1.1. The following documents, including any documents or standards referenced


therein, are by this reference incorporated into and made part of this Contract
and shall be adhered to by CONTRACTOR in performance of the WORK.

The technical scope of WORK is specified in the following Volumes listed below
and includes documents or standards referenced therein or elsewhere in the
Contract:

 Volume I: Scope of work and contractual guidelines;

 Volume II: Studies and Reports;

 Volume III: Bid deliverables & Engineering Package; and,

 Volume IV: Saudi Aramco Codes & Standards

1.2. In addition to the Scope of WORK defined in this Contract, the scope shall be
in accordance with, but is not limited to, the narratives, calculations,
specifications, drawings, reports, and any other related documents listed and
included in the following Control Log:

 Drawing Control Log – PD-A30002-001

2. PROJECT SUPPORT BUILDINGS AND CONTRACTOR CAMPS

2.1. The following requirements apply to Project Support Buildings, including


SAUDI ARAMCO and CONTRACTOR Group offices at the Job Site, and
Contractor Camps, accommodation for SAUDI ARAMCO and CONTRACTOR
Group personnel.

2.1.1. The scope of the Project Support Building and the Contractor Camps as
set forth in the Job Specification shall be in accordance with:

2.2. All Project Standards not listed above are included in the Specifications,
Drawings, Reports, or Supplemental Project Documents listed in the above
referenced Drawings Control Log.

3. PROJECT LOCATION AND BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK

The project will provide facilities that deliver Arab Heavy (AH) crude oil, export gas
and condensate from the planned Zuluf Central Processing Facility (ZCPF) to the
designated termination points. This Budget Item (BI) comes in support of the Zuluf
AH crude oil increment program, which aims to develop 600 MBCD of AH crude oil
increment from Zuluf reservoir starting with 300 MBCD in August, 2025 and a full
capacity of 600 MBCD in October, 2025. This BI will also account for 200 MBCD of
AH crude oil from Safaniyah reservoir that is planned to come on-stream in the
future.

The total 800 MBCD increment from Zuluf and Safaniyah will be processed at a new
ZCPF which is planned to come to on-stream Dec. 2025. The scope of this project
covers delivery of the produced hydrocarbons from the proposed ZCPF to its
designated customers by installing following downstream pipelines:

 42” ZFJ-1 (AH Crude Oil) pipeline to Ju’aymah Terminal (JT);

 18” ZFBGT-1 (Treated Gas) pipeline to new Scraper Trap Facility


(proposed under Marjan Downstream Pipelines project) at SK KM-
22 (KM-22 of existing SK corridor);

 10” ZFBCL -1 (Condensate) pipeline to new Scraper Trap Facility


located at SK KM-22

In addition, to the three pipelines, the scope of work also incudes, Main line valve
areas, Jump-over areas, Scraper receiving areas as well as the additional four Surge
Relief Skids (SRS) located in existing brown fields of Ras Tanura Terminal (RTT),
Ras Tanura Refinery (RTR), Ju’aymah Terminal (JT) and Ju’aymah Junction (JJ).

4. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OR REQUIREMENTS

4.1. PIPE PRESERVATION

CONTRACTOR shall provide end caps to preserve each pipe (single/double-


jointed) before hauling to site according to all applicable SAUDI ARAMCO
Standards.

4.2. PIPE TRANSPORTATION

CONTRACTOR shall transport the coated pipes from the coting yard to the site.
CONTRACTOR shall provide the necessary lifting and handling equipment to
be used for the loading of the pipes from the coater yard. CONTRACTOR shall
be also responsible to transport all excess coated pipes from the coating facility
or Job Site to any designated area assigned by the Company.

4.3. HYDROSTATIC TESTING

CONTRACTOR shall provide the water required for the hydrostatic testing of
the mainline pipeline, valves, piping and any other facility that may require
hydrostatic testing per SAUDI ARAMCO standards.

The provided water shall be tested and approved by SAUDI ARAMCO


according to the project design requirements and SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
Any additives to be added to the water shall be pre-approved by SAUDI
ARAMCO.

Contractor shall construct evaporation ponds so that when the hydrostatic test
is completed, the water shall be drained to these evaporation ponds. Any other
method of water disposal shall be pre-approved by SAUDI ARAMCO.

4.3.1.

4.4. CONSTRUCTION CREWS

4.4.1. Mainlines Pipes Construction:

CONTRACTOR shall provide a minimum of six (6) full time construction


crews simultaneously, to carry out the mainlines pipes construction
activities throughout the project duration.

The total number of crews shall increase if the work progress is not in
line with the plan and as directed by the COMPANY Representative for
no additional cost to the COMPANY.

For the mainline welding and wherever it’s possible, CONTRACTOR


shall use the automatic welding.

Each crew shall consist of following sub crews, at a minimum:

 Surveying crew
 QA/QC crew
 Inspection crew
 Right of Way construction crew
 Stringing crew
 Welding crew
 Automatic Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) / X-Ray/ Non-Destructive
Testing (NDT) crew
 Coating crew
 STOPAQ crew
 Trenching / Excavation crew
 Roads Crossing crew
 Lowering crew
 Tie-in crew
 Backfilling crew
 Berming and Stabilizing crew
 Communication crew
 Instrumentation crew
 Electrical & CP crew
 Cleaning & Gauging crew
 Hydrostatic test crew (includes Water filling, dewatering, drying
runs)
 Safety Crew

The number of sub crews shall be provided in accordance with the site
progress requirement to meet the critical milestones dates as set forth in
Schedule “B”, Attachment II.

4.4.2. Additional Surge Relief Skids:

CONTRACTOR shall provide minimum two (2) dedicated crews


simultaneously, and until the completion of installation of additional
Surge Relief Skids, SRS, at the following locations:

The number of sub crews shall be provided in accordance with the site

Schedule “B”, Attachment II.

5. ADDITIONAL PROJECT CONTROL REQUIREMENTS

5.1.1. Photographs.

CONTRACTOR shall provide photographs in the Monthly Report


indicating construction progress, and key events. Photographs shall be
taken during the monthly construction period, as a minimum one at each
location, with location and direction marked up on an A3 sized Plot
Plan(s).

In addition to construction photographs, additional subjects shall include:


Model Construction; Equipment Manufacture; Prefabrication; Hazards
and Problems; Equipment Off loading, Transportation and Heavy Lifts.

COMPANY shall be given the color negatives of each photograph with


the Monthly Status Report. All photographs shall be stamped with the
date the photograph was taken.

CONTRACTOR shall apply for and obtain Photo Permits at WORK Site
before photography will be authorized, as described in Attachment 3 of
this Procedure.

5.1.2. 3D CADD Pictures

CONTRACTOR shall provide 3D CADD pictures depicting views of the


plant during the engineering development phase. These views shall be
further used during the construction phase to demonstrate physical
progress during weekly/monthly meetings.
