Term 3 Week 2 and 3 Due Date: Monday 16 th August

Complete the tasks written in bold type. Choose at least two other tasks to complete. When you have completed a task, colour it
and ask your parents to sign the box. Record all your homework in your homework book. Remember to keep all your homework
neat and separate by using headings and ruling off.

winning author, filmmaker and artist
from Western Australia.
Write a brief informational report
about him using some the text features
of informational reports that we looked
at last term. Use inquiry questions to
help you ie who, where, what, why,
how.

Regulates. Write a paragraph
explaining what what it means to self-
regulate. Include how you have shown
resilience.

Read a book of choice each night for
20-30 minutes and record your reading
in your Reading Log.
Complete two reading activities on

I am reading at least two newspaper
articles a week. Cut out and stick one of
your favourite articles from this week’s
reading into your homework book. List
the adjectives that you find.

The idea is to have fun while
getting some exercise at the same
time. This is different from an
afternoon’s sports training session.

Make your own playdoh and build a Lost
Thing. You may add small items such as
buttons, bottle tops etc to your Lost
Thing. Photograph it and glue it into
your homework book. You can also bring
it in to share with the class.

fruit. Take photos of your meal and
glue them into your homework book.
You may also like to include the recipe.

America or North America and write
ten interesting facts about the country.
