Is the Brighton Student Care Centre able to reach out to MacPherson residents?

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Read this carefully. It may help you answer some of the questions.

In 2014, Brighton opened a community facility known as the Brighton Student Care Centre (BSCC),
which aims to assist poorer students and senior citizens living in the MacPherson area, with the
end goal of inviting them to Brighton Church (Sunday School, YF, or Adults).

MacPherson residents who are poor and unable to afford private tuition with trained MOE
Teachers from Brighton.

While the above schemes have been successful, are the beneficiaries willing to join Brighton
Community Church or the YF? Read on to find out

Source 1: The purpose of setting up BSCC according to the official website

We are a non-profit Social Service Agency and registered charity, recognised as an Institution of a
Public Character (IPC) since May 2017. Using a holistic community approach, we render assistance
to children, families and seniors through our social development initiatives and empowerment
schemes.

Our current efforts are focused in MacPherson Estate, a community which is known to have a
disproportionate percentage of lower income households, latchkey children* and seniors. Through
our initiatives, we strive to improve the lives and touch the hearts of these residents.
*Latchkey child: a child who must spend at least part of the day alone and unsupervised, as when the
parents are away at work.

Well, this event is a total waste of time. Why on Earth are we doing this kind of things? I rather
make better use of my time. It is ok if the Church is making us go for services and CG sessions every

overall this is pretty dumb

The CreaTeam has also prepared fun and exciting games before youth service, remember to check
out the mood board!

Extract 3:

It is indeed nothing of the ordinary when we step into the auditorium before YF service on a
typical Saturday to see rows of chairs intricately set up neatly by the Usher Team.
But how do they know the right number of seats to set up?
It was as though the Usher Team knew who was coming beforehand, it was as though our names
were written on each of the chairs.
