INTRODUCTION
A portfolio is a compilation of academic works and other forms of educational evidence
assembled for the purpose of (1) evaluating coursework quality, learning progress, and
academic achievement; (2) determining whether students have met learning standards
or other academic requirements for courses, grade level promotion, and graduation; (3)
helping students reflect on their academic goals and progress as learners; and (4)
creating a lasting archive of academic work products, accomplishments, and other
documentation.
The things that can be found in the portfolio are the Program Objectives where the
relevance of of making portfolio were addressed, Learning Task or Performance

selected task, and the Reflection including the name of the artifact/self-selected

endeavors help the learners attain to the program standard desired.

in facilitating diverse types of learners in a variety of settings which it addressed the
relevance of making Integrative Documentary Portfolio.
The relevance of the portfolio to the program objectives serves as a collection of records

Rationale
The artifact relate to the program objectives in a way that it helps the learnerspractice
the ability to create a work of art from the various media and explore the expressive
potential of media and develop a variety of skills using different methods and
techniques. The said artifact compromise both pedagogical and theoretical that it lead
meeting the program objectives in a way that students acquired new set of knowledge
that beyond to what they already know. Together with the guide of the instructor,
learners are able to comprehend the acquired knowledge very well and widen the
perspectives from not what they already know but to what more knowledge they must
know. The artifact enables the student to have an enjoyment from the introduced topics.

PAINTING OIL PASTEL

The said artifact reflect learning in a way

that I was able to explore my capacities on
how to create artwork specifically drawing,
painting and oil pastel. Honestly, I have fear in
making artwork because it is always
present on my mind that I don not have the
skills in making an artwork. But through
this activity, I was able to go beyond my
comfort zone, I was able to make artworks
that in the first place I never thought I could
make it.

7
SYSTEM ORGANIZATION
A portfolio is a great tool for showcasing potential creative and professional skills and talents of
students. I took many steps to create a portfolio. First, I select a task or document in which I used it
to create a learning task/performance summary, rationale and reflection.
As I did the learning task, I wrote down the objective and outcomes addressed by the lesson I had
chosen. As I make the rationale, I have questions that I based on. The question is what is the said
artifact? How did the artifact relate to the said program objective? and what did I learn as I created
my portfolio. As I reflect, I also have questions based. How does the artifact reflect student learning?
What element wil be displayed in the program outcomes? and what dis the student do in doing the
task. I also put together the screenshots of my activities showing that it is true that I did something.
And finally I put a curriculum vitae where I put my personal information.
