“A proposed flexible learning environment for the MOHSP Grade-10 students of


Mambajao District”

RATIONALE:
This proposal is intended to determine the best flexible learning environment
for the Grade-10 students of the MOHSP-Mambajao District. This proposal also
considers the nature and the availability of technological resources of the learners as
well as the competencies of the teachers during this time of pandemic.
OBJECTIVES:
To maximize the learning of the students using flexible instructions.
To increase opportunities and options to learners and give them greater
control over their learning through a variety of learning modes and
instructions.

Keypad / android cellphone, printed modules, evaluation sheets.
METHODOLOGY:
In this time of pandemic, the learning of the students starts with the distribution of
modules. After the distribution, it seems like the students are now on their own
completely. In this model, we focus on the process of giving support to students
through follow-up calls using any type of cellphone. Any questions they want to ask to
the teachers, they can easily raise during these follow-up calls. The teacher on the
other hand should schedule when to call the students for follow ups. It is important to
note that it is the teacher who should call the students because it is proven that most
students will not call the teachers themselves. Once a week should be enough
considering the load of paper works that the teachers have. After the said follow-up
call, it is time to collect the modules to check the progress of the students. Sadly, in
reality, most of the students rely on the answer key for their answers which is why we
need the next step, the giving of evaluation sheet as a way of post-evaluation. It is
advised that we give these short evaluations in every 3 modules that the students
finish to avoid confusion in the modules they have already answered.
