ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
I Introduction

It seems like it was just a month ago when the annual Brigada Eskwela took place. The Department
of Education’s (DepEd) 2020 releases the JOINT IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES ON THE 2020
BRIGADA ESKWELA AND OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA RELATIVE TO THE COVID-19
SITUATION dated May 28,2020 amending thereby Deped Memorandum No. 032.S.2020 titled 2020
Brigada Eskwela Program Implementing Guidelines, and Deped Memorandum No.14.S.2020 Oplan
Balik Eskwela.
For this year, the BE and OBE, the annual activities of DepEd to prepare for the opening of
classes, were reconfigured to be locally implemented under the joint theme “Pagpapanatili ng
Bayanihan Tungo sa Kalidad na Edukasyon para sa Kabataan”which will run on June 1 until August
29, 2020. Pursuant to this and in consideration of the relevant regulations for the management of
COVID-19,the implementation of BE and OBE includes the engagement of stakeholders and
addressing problems, queries, and other concerns in preparation for the start of classes. Brigada
Eskwela shall focus on preparations and strengthening partnership engagement.
The school which is responsible in molding the learners into a responsible individual in the society.
This is where one is crafted into a better person, who will be an emblem of the kind of learning centre
where he was raised. The multifarious concern of schools demands working with others to accomplish
designed tasks and objectives. These would need dedicated school personnel, cooperative parents,
accountable community and innovative learners. So,instead of enjoying the vacation, teachers along with
the parents and other stakeholders of Mahabang Kahoy Lejos Elementary School have come to school
fuelled by the spirit of volunteerism and unity.
Our School Head coordinate with the Local Government Unit with the parents through the Parents-
Teachers Associations to raise the availability of the following items in school during Brigada Eskwela like
thermal scanner, hand sanitizing materials, and cleaning tools like disinfecting bleach.

II Activities Undertaken
Through the collaboration of the internal and external stakeholders, the following
were successfully done.
 1. Cutting of grasses
2. Cleaning of school surroundings and garden
3. Gardening
4. Repainting of school building, flag pole and pathway
5. Repairing and repainting of chairs, tables and door.
6. Upgrading of pathway
7. School Disinfecting (canteen, office, comfort room and classroom)
8. Installation of hand washing station
9. Repainting of classroom wall, bookshelves and bulletin board
10. Decorating of classroom
