FOREWORD

The progressive expansion of classes within this school year marks a new beginning and a
new promise for everyone after the challenges and threats brought by COVID 19. At that time, we
applied all possible means to reach our leaners: printed modules were distributed, two-way radio
transceivers were given to parents and students sponsored by LGU Diffun while some of it were
personally provided by the teachers so that they can have classes, google meet on FB messenger
were utilized by teachers to reach out students and learners were continuously followed up through
home visitations. All of these have been the scenario in the past school year which shows that our
commitment to serve did not stop even during the hardest times.

It has been our practice to move as one accord towards #BIDABEST IVIS- Beautified,
Intensified, Diversified Academe for Balanced Excellent and Selfless Teaching. Support system
was established among us and with the parents. The result was manifested by our achievement in
the district level up to the national level. Instruction was intensified in the conduct of summer
classes through possible modalities. Innovations were crafted to suit learners with special needs
particularly on reading. In addition, now that in-person classes are allowed, our precedence is to
ensure the safety of our learners in and outside the school with the help of our support groups, the
parents and DOH under the Local Government Unit.

New learning delivery modalities is hoped to be introduced after some trainings and LAC
sessions with teachers, to ensure the capability of learners to adopt to the in-person classes from the
two-year long-distance learning modality. In this way, learners will be given the chance to clarify
their goals and set their career plans while engaged to the programs set by the school for them.

As we continue to soar high, BE-LCP would express our blueprint along the way. Quality
education always remains to be the focus. This is the time to review and to bridge the gaps of the
past 2021-2022 for continuity of accomplishment this 2022-2023. This is the time to align to the
present in terms of plans, programs, projects, and finances. A way to maximize potentials and
resources in the school community.

We envision a school of distinction; therefore, we continue to open the communication line

with our stakeholders. As they come, we meet their needs and as we go to them, they give their
support in return. Synergy with LGU is needed because they play salient role in the implementation
and realization of our BE-LCP. They would complete the idea on cooperation, collaboration,
responsibility, and engagement into real and tangible provision of some of the school’s needs which
only they would be able to provide.

Lastly, monitoring and evaluation plan is provided as part of this blueprint to check on the
progress of implemented programs. The need for adjustments on the short- and long-term goals will
be manifested, good practices and its impact will be realized, and strengths and weaknesses shall be
dealt with utmost consideration. Constant feedback will also be accepted for the continued growth
of all.

Dedication
We dedicate this work to all our beloved learners for they are the main reason in the

creation of this plan. Also, to our supportive parents and stakeholders who have been our

partners every school year.

To every member of IVIS family, for sharing their resources and knowledge in the

completion of this book.

Above all, God the Almighty for the gift of wisdom, patience, strength, power of

mind, protection, and health. To Him be all the Glory.

Message of the School Principal

School History
The first school building was at an open area, a waiting shed of some sort, in Macate in the
year 1964 since Ifugao Village was a part of Barangay Macate, municipality of Diffun, Province of
Nueva Vizcaya. A year later, the people built a school at Sitio Mongkol. It was made of Bamboo,
rattan, wood and cogon. In the year 1971, when Ifugao Village was established as a new barangay,
the barangay officials headed by Barangay Captain Benito P. Dayog petitioned the repair of the old
school building. The Schools Division of Quirino allowed them to repair the building. It was during
this time that Ifugao Village Primary School was established.

It was in the year 1964 when the first group pf pupils gathered. The first grades were Grade
1 and Grade 3, a combination classes. There was no Grade 2 since the pupils from Lagawe finished
Grade 2. There were seven Grade 1, namely: Bonifacio Happay, Danilo Quintero, Ruben Tangid,
Romulo Obrero, Tomas, Momog, Manuel Tinaynan, and Mary Tayaban. The Grade 3 class were
comèposed fo seven pupils. They were Emeliano Cabbigat, Orlando Ruiz, Eva Momog, Thelma De
Guzman, Isabel Cabbigat, Flordeliza Agustin, and Dionisio Radam Jr. Additional grade were added
in 1965. Hence, the school catered Grade 1,2,3, and 4.

Since the opening of the school in 1964, Mr. Ambrocio Otoman of Dumanisi was the only
teacher until 1972 with the supervision of Mr. Juan Cabanban in 1964 and Miss Patrosenio Olibar
in 1965. In the year 1972, another teacher was sent in the person of Mr. Carino. Other teachers who
served Ifugao Village Primary School from 1972 to 1992 were Mrs. Pascual, Mrs. Mary Mataag,
Mr. Bartolome, Mr. Belondres, Mrs. Myrna Gatan, Mrs. Paz Lumidao, and Mrs. Marione Benitez.
In June 1996, Mr. Sebastian S. Ignacio came and was assigned to teach the first grade 5 and 6 as a
combination class. It was during this time that Ifugao Village Primary School turned into an
Elementary school in 1977. The district supervisor at that time was Mrs. Rosie F. Taganas and Mr.
Orlando G. Gundayao was the Schools Division Superintendent. Mr. Sebastian S. Ignacio served as
the Teacher-in-Charge then later became the Principal I until January 8, 2007. With the efforts of
the teachers and with the leadership of Mr. Ignacio, Ifugao Village Elementary School turned into
an integrated school catering first and second year in 2005-2006 with Miss Caro D. Nicod-am as the
first teacher in high school. Mrs. Wilfreda Basco was detailed in IVIS within the same school year
but transferred to Burgos National High School the following school year.

Mr. Ernesto Tumitit was assigned Teacher-in-Charge from 2007 to 2008. From September
2008 to July 2013, Dr. Sherly C. Cainguitan served as school Principal. Dr. Erlito B. Madriaga was
assigned as school principal from August 2013 to January 2016. Then from January 2016 to
present, the School Principal is Dr. Nerlisa J. Domingcil.

In December December 7, 2015, Mr. Tomas Momog, Mr. Alfredo H. Happay and Mr.
Benito T. Lammag were given due recognition with certificates awarded by Dr. Erlito B. Madriaga
and Mr. Ricky L. Gali-om for waiving their rights of ownership of land to IVIS. The said document
stated that each of them waived their 8,874.67 square meter piece of land with a total of 26,624.01
sq. meters to where the school is situated.

In August 2, 2016, the same three persons signed a Waiver of Rights in the presence of the
DENR personnel who came to survey the area. Others present were Dr. Nerlisa J. Domingcil, IVIS
School Principal, Hon. Paquito Balona, Barangay Captain, and Mr. Ricky Gali-om. The signing of
the document is one requirement for the land titling which was on the process at that time through
the efforts of the School Principal Dr. Nerlisa J. Domingcil.

With the efforts of the stakeholders, the school became a complete elementary school in
1995-1996, and was converted into an integrated school in 2005-2006 catering first and second year
high school. Eventually, with complete secondary in 2007-2008.
The continued increase of population and the need of the community lead the offering of
Senior High School with (HUMSS) Humanities and Social Sciences Strand in 2019-2020.

RATIONALE

A sunshine of hope in the Department of Education was perceived when the new DepEd
Secretary Madam Sara Duterte disclosed DepEd Order No. 034, s. 2022 School Calendar and
Activities for School Year 2022-2023. Parents were enlightened about the whole school year
activities of their children in school. It gave a clear vision for teachers on what is ahead. Learners
are driven back to school, enough on the challenges and hardships of distance learning.

As we open our school doors for in-person classes, we have crafted this Basic Education
Learning and Recovery Continuity Plan to ensure that gaps and lapses in the past surge of pandemic
will be addressed. At the same time, we hope that this BEL-RCP will serve as a healing process for
our parents and learners against the delirious effect of the COVID 19, so that hand-in-hand we will
attain full recovery in terms of all aspects and achieve our goals with utmost support from each
other.

The road for basic education implementation this school year is here. Specific guidelines,
policies, directives, and projects are geared from DepEd agenda. This program opens the channel of
sensitivity and compassion to our learners while we embrace so called inclusive learning. Every
learner is treated equally with care. To address the educational needs of learners, we source out
possible and various strategies in terms of physical and academic aspects. Wholesome instruction
for wholesome development is what we used to offer effectively and efficiently.

BE-LRCP allows us to plot the following guiding standards in the light of our commitment
as an institution:
1.Safety, health and physical and mental well-being of all learners, teachers, and
stakeholders
is the priority manifested through the provision of needed facilities within our
capability;
2. Learning contents are based on MELCs as prescribed in DepEd Order No. 034, s, 2022.
3. In-person classes are conducted at all levels;
4. Proper orientation of parents was conducted before the opening of classes and a follow-
up conference will be done for better communication and dissemination of school
plans, projects, needs and accomplishments;
5. Bayanihan spirit is alive in IVIS since its existence until today, empowering parents to do
their share through volunteerism, making the school a haven of conducive learning
for their children;
6.Co-curricular activities will always be part of our education practice which is another
avenue
of valuable learning experience;
7. Challenges, gaps and issues will be dealt with utmost care.

As we try to find the best method to deliver quality service to our students, the plans and
programs stated will serve as weapons for our advancement. Loopholes, ups and downs will be
encountered along the way but with the usual support and accelerated efforts, we will surely
overcome them. Change for excellence is what we aim for, we work hand in hand and sustain
#BIDABESTIVIS.
