A. Activity  Checking of Attendance

last discussed in the subject and briefly discussed the
relationship of this to the new subject matter.

students shall answer the questions by choosing
whether they are guilty [if they have already
done/experienced it] or not guilty [if they haven’t
done/experienced it].

picked it up and eat it?
3) Have you ever stolen anything?
4) Have you gone to bed without brushing your
teeth?
5) Have you ever farted in public and then pointed
someone else and accused them that they are
the one who farted?
6) Have you ever been suspended from school?
7) Have you ever done something you regret?
8) Have you ever stalked someone online?
9) Have you ever deleted a post on social media
because it didn’t get enough likes?
10)Have you ever cried because you are very angry?

B. Analysis After the activity, the teacher will ask the students the
following questions:

1. Did you enjoy the activity?


2. Were the questions relatable?
3. What did you observe in the questions?
4. What can you say about the questions?
C. Abstraction The teacher will now discuss the SVA Neither-nor and
Either-or; its meaning, differences and use. The
teacher will conduct an activity after the discussion to
assess if students can properly use the neither-nor
and either-or.

The teacher will ask the following questions:

1. What did we discuss today?


2. What is the difference between either-or and
neither-nor?
3. Give a sample sentence for either-or and neither-
nor.
4. What do you think is the importance of knowing
the different uses of the words we have tackled?

5. How can you use the things you have learned


today in your everyday lives? Give me an example
of the situation.

D. Application 1.The teacher will ask the students to use either-or and

IV. Evaluation To check the students’ understanding, the teacher will

the proper correlative conjunction to use – is it
either/or OR neither/nor.

Combine the following pairs of sentences using


either/or or neither/nor.

1. I don’t like Stephen. I don’t like Peter.


2. Give me freedom. Give me death.
3. He must have done this. His brother must have
done this.
4. He did not come. He did not call.
5. He may attend the function. His wife may
attend the function.

Choose the appropriate word for each sentence.

experiences that shows decision-making in their life. They
must include the neither/nor and either/or in their
speech which they have learned in the lesson.
