Week 30
Day 4: We pray and worship in the community.
I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson the pupils are expected to:
a. Identify what place in the community where you go to pray.
b. Perform what to do in different places of community through dramatic play.
c. Draw poster of community.
d. Show cooperation and willingness during activity.
a. Content Standard:
Ang bata ay nagkakaroon ng pag-unawa sa pagpapahayag ng kaisipan at imahinasyon sa
malikhain at malayang pamamaraan.
Ang bata ay nagkakaroon ng pag-unawa sa konsepto ng mga sumusunod na batayan upang
lubos na mapahalagahan ang sarili:

b. Performance Standard:
Ang bata ay nakapagpapamalas ng kakayahang maipahayag ang kaisipan, damdamin,
saloobin at imahinasyon sa pamamagitan ng malikhaing pagguhit/pagpinta.
Ang bata ay nagpapamalas ng tamang pagkilos sa lahat ng pagkakataon na may paggalang
at pagsasaalang-alang sa sarili at sa iba.

Nakalilikha ng iba,t ibang bagay sa pamamagitan ng malayang pagguhit. (SKMP-00-1)

1.1 Presentation
We pray and worship in the community. Show picture of boy praying. A picture of Choir singing praises
and a picture of a church. Explicitly give the meaning of the pray, worship and church.
1.2 Unlocking of Difficult words/ Modeling:
Pray: is our act of communicating to God in asking for forgiveness for our sins, thanking God for our
blessings, and asking for favors
Worship: is an act of praise it can be through singing, choir or dancing
Church: is part of the community where we can pray

1.3 Guided Practice
A. Group Activity
The teacher will group the children into 5 groups to do Teacher’s Supervised Activity (Poster making of a
community). The other remaining pupils will perform differentiated activities about what to do in the
following community namely church, hospital, grocery, park) through dramatization.

I have here a giant vase. Inside the vase are different pictures. Each of you will pick one and tell the name
of it. Pin the picture on the flannel board.

Let us name one by one the pictures. I will say first and you will repeat after me.
