Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and full of respect at

Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Darulaman,Jitra,Kedah. The ceremony started at 8

AM in the main hall with large crowd of lecturer and students by following the
standard operation prosedur according to the pandemic Covid-19.
TN.HJ. Hashim Bin Asman as a chairman of IPGKDA, DR.HJH.Amani
Bt.Abdullah Mubarak and also members of IPGKDA Management Committee were
escorted by the student representative council.
To Commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the chairman waved the
National Flag and the crowd sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our
freedom. The students of historical class presented a group of choir to sing the
Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land. The
chairman of the IPGKDA TN.HJ Hashim Bin Asman,said “he is happy to notice that
today’s students think about the freedom and it is necessary to inculcate within us.
The true freedom means when we make our country corruption free.”
Two of PPISMP student had represented the poetry recital about the National
Day.Besides, some of student from art course did the acting on the stage about the
National Day.
Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a
better place for Malaysian to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in
diversity.
