Youth Ambassador Program 2021

The ASEAN Youth Organization (A.Y.O.) invites you to join us as an A.Y.O Youth Ambassador. The
A.Y.O Ambassador Program is a program for youths across Southeast Asia, which is a cordial
commitment of the ASEAN youths to the local, regional community, and people. The program
aims to establish an ASEAN-wide network of youths who will serve as the point lead for outreach
in a designated region. The ambassador(s) will be in charge of publicizing A.Y.O events and
recruiting new members into the organization.

The Programme goals are:

- To expand its reach among youths within ASEAN as well as increase awareness of the ASEAN.
- To empower ASEAN youths to take a more active role in the area of civic education, community
service, and youth leadership development, sub themes such as entrepreneurship, innovation,
multiculturalism, and environmental protection as well as open new fundraising opportunities.
- To train and equip a new generation of ASEAN youths with practical skills, peacebuilding tools,
integrity, and sensitivity to the diverse perspective of others.
- To create opportunities for further cooperation and collaboration and follow-up activities
between participants and alumni.

Responsibilities:
- Be willing for outreach to college and high school in the respective community, city, or region:
connect to other student leaders in their own area(s) to AYO.
- Assist in the publicity of AYO events in the respective school(s) and social media.
- Plan and execute at least 2 events under the aegis of the AYO in the community, city, region, or
country.
- Attending the ASEAN Youth Training conducted by the organization for at least 80% of the total
training.

All youth participants must:

- Aged 15-30 years old
- Be fresh graduate and undergraduate students, high school students are welcome to apply.
- Be a citizen of an ASEAN country.
- Be able to commit at least 3 months to this program.
- Demonstrate leadership potential and community involvement.
- Exhibit flexibility, maturity, integrity, good social skills, and open-mindedness.

Development via Zoom by professionals in English. In the end, we will provide a
certificate of these pieces of training after 3 months depending on how active you are
