After almost a decade in content-related positions of various levels, I chose to take
advantage of my experience in a marketing-oriented role and this is how a thrilling ride in
digital marketing began. Having the privilege to work for, the largest entertainment retail brand in Greece, I delved into the secrets of e-commerce, as well as digital and content marketing, further developing my skills and constantly undertaking new responsibilities. As Technology Content Marketing Supervisor, my main KPIs had to do with sales, visits and conversion rates; however my role was far more complex than this. I had to ensure that every product was presented in the best possible way and fuelled through the proper channels, therefore suggesting material that should be communicated through social media, newsletters, banners and other merchandising elements. I was also in charge of the constant evolution of every technology category in Public.gr, performing constant competition analyses, finding new ways to further develop our copywriting techniques and SEO performance as well as leading and supervising projects that would offer the company advantages over the competition and provide our customers with a seamless and pleasant user experience (navigation, performance, added sales, personalized recommendations, etc.). Data analysis, A/B testing and evaluation were necessary in order to figure out what our customers really needed and lead my team and associates towards the right direction. Shortly after I moved to London, I found myself around the familiar requirements of an editorial role. Being a member of or a while has allowed me to adapt to a completely new environment from a cultural and linguistic perspective. My transferable skills and background will allow me not only to fulfil the role’s requirements, but to also quickly blend in with the team and liaise with my peers. I am used into working in fast paced environments and conforming to dynamically changing priorities and data. I have a proven track record in identifying market trends and creating new business opportunities. Combined with my experience in community management within the gaming media industry, this will allow me to deliver quick results. More than a passion, video games have been the cornerstone of my professional career; my in-depth knowledge of the industry, the market, and the trends will help me understand any audience’s needs, allowing me to start working towards my KPIs. Having reviewed hundreds of titles, I fully grasp video games’ various gameplay mechanisms, and can successfully identify and promote the proper USPs. An experienced and dependable individual with a “can do” approach, I am the perfect mixture of creativity and responsibility, experience and enthusiasm. I have the professional know-how to step into the Junior Brand Manager’s shoes and excel, as well as the passion, the skills and the stomach to face every kind of challenge. To make a long story short, I am your man.
