‘Lucifer’ Season 6: Everything We Know About the Finale Season

Lucifer, which was originally scheduled to run for five installments, is going to set the
television on fire after it is confirmed to return for its sixth season. But what’s in store for
the final episodes of the Netflix show? Here’s everything we know!

When will it be released?

The final season of Lucifer was announced in June through a Twitter post. Netflix
teased: “The devil made us do it. #Lucifer will return for a sixth and final season. Like,
FINAL final.” In another tweet, co-showrunner Joe Henderson gave us a glimpse of the
first day of shooting the finale season.

However, the release date has not been confirmed date. Fans are likely to have to wait
for the final season to air, though. After all, the second part of Lucifer Season 5 is still
yet to land on screens after the delays due to the pandemic.

What could it look like?

With the hanging scenes from the Season 5 Part 2’s plot, many are wondering what will
happen in Season 6. The show’s writer Ildy Modrovich has promised fans of a “one
giant story” to come, adding: “that just needed to be told.”

As for the plot, Modrovich revealed some important concerns that will be covered in the
new season. She said in an interview with ET, “When we got back to the (writers’) room,
we started looking at the fact that we’re a cop show and in what ways have we
contributed or not addressed the systematic issues of the police department.” The writer
added that the show will be addressing that issue directly.

Who are the confirmed cast for Lucifer Season 6?

The cast of Season 6 is still not confirmed, but what we do know is that Tom Ellis is
reprising his Lucifer role. It is likely that Lauren German as Chloe, Rachel Harris as
Linda Martin, Lesly-Ann Brandt as Maze, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Scarlett Estevez
as Trixiw Espinoza, Kevin Alejandro as Dan Espinoza, and DB Woodside as Amenadiel
are all in for the finale season.

So keep your eyes peeled for Lucifer’s final blow!
