NARRATIVE REPORT ON PARENTS TUTORIAL

Betes Elementary School conducted orientation with the parents and

community about the teaching process. Parents and guardians served as the
teachers at home. They guided and helped their children to understand the
lessons correctly. Weekly Home Learning Plan was included in School
Learning Kit that served as their guide every day of teaching and learning.

For some parents who encountered difficulties about the lesson,

teachers gave additional examples and instructions about the lessons and
sent video lessons to help the parents in teaching their children.

Group Chats of parents from Kinder to Grade-Six together with the

advisers and school head were a big help to easily communicate now that we
are in this new normal situation. Teachers were approached by the parents
or guardians through text, call and group chat.

For the reproduction of modules, there were bond papers, ink and
printers purchased from MOOE and stakeholders donated cash, reams and
boxes of bond paper.

In the celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2020

 
I. Introduction:
 
Department of Education officially designated July as the National Disaster
Resilience Month with the theme “ Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t Peligro para sa Tunay na
Pagbabago” from July 1 to 31, 2019, in compliance to Republic Act 10121 of 2010 also
known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act.
 
This celebration aims to increase the awareness of every Filipino especially
pupils and school personnel on natural and man-made hazards for a better appreciation
of the department’s disaster preparedness program.
 
In line with this, BETES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL joined the month long
celebration and conducted activities to honor the said event.

III. Accomplishment:

A. Narrative:

We have set various activities for this Month long celebration of the National
Disaster Resilience Month 2020 for BETES ES. The above mentioned activities are
among the conducted series of activities in the school. It was participated by our
pupils, teachers and parents as well.

To conclude the celebration of the 2021 National Disaster Resilience Month,

our School conducted a Culmination Program on August 2, 2021 at 2:00 0’clock in
the afternoon. The program was a blast! It was indeed very successful and joyful,
because despite of the heavy down pour of rain and no power of electricity we
continued the activities and it was a SUCCESS. Full participation of pupils, teachers,
parents and officials the program was culminated immensely.
