Pressure relief valve
If a bypass is required or requested for other reasons, a NORI-A globe
valve as per the type leaflet 7642.1, DN 15 (seat diameter of gate valve
 150 mm) or DN 25 (seat diameter of gate valve = 200 mm) should
be used.

The valves are marked to DIN/EN 19 (ISO 5209).

Installation
The gate valves are designed for a max. differential pressure
equal to the working pressure.

When ordering, please state whether a pressure relief valve is to be


provided, or whether excess pressures are to be released via a by-
pass or a relief hole upstream in the body.

CAUTION:
The pressure relief valve must not be welded directly to the
connecting branch (part 131.2), but must be connected to it via an
interconnection pipe (part 710) vertically upward and outside the
insulation. The minimum distance from the insulation is 200 mm.
