CRANE WORKBOXES
Make Sure it’s Safe
As safety is the highest priority, Nobles crane workboxes have
been assessed by Workplace Services in South Australia to be
totally compliant to AS 1418.17. Reciprocal registration is
available in the other states as required.
Workboxes are for use only in those situations where it is
necessary to convey personnel with tools and work materials
to a work location by crane in accordance with AS 2550.1.
Please consult state Work Cover or OH&S authorities for local
requirements.

• Always ensure that the crane used is of sufficient capacity at the
radius of use.
• Never use workboxes in proximity to live equipment.
• Fall arrest harnesses are required for occupants.
• Cranes used must be properly maintained and checked in
accordance with AS 2550.1 and local regulations.
• Workboxes are only for situations where it is necessary to
transport personnel by crane and shall not be used as permanent
substitutes for more appropriate transport means.
• A competent person shall check the crane cage and all lifting
attachments. All connections shall be checked prior to lift.
• Precautions against collision with bystanders or objects must be
made. Proper precautions for working at height shall be made.
• Never enter or exit a suspended workbox except in the case of
an emergency.

FORKLIFT WORKBOXES
Don’t Risk a Fall
There is no need to climb over racks and equipment or risk
serious injury riding a pallet or fork tyne. A forklift can become a
handy tool for accessing stock and equipment that is out of reach
if it is used with the right equipment.
Lightweight to Suit 2 Tonne Forklifts
Nobles have achieved a design that is light enough but more rigid
and sturdy than some other common designs available. We have
retained a door and a practical design that features a front
handrail which aids in occupant safety whilst improving lateral
strength and our cages achieve the highest standards of
manufacture and general quality.
Custom Made Forklift Personnel Workboxes
As with all Nobles engineered products if there is a special
requirement for a Forklift Personnel Workbox we can custom
design to suit a particular application or customer specification
and to be fully compliant with relevant safety standards.

A = Anchorage
The anchorage is the secure point of attachment for the fall arrest
system. The appropriate type of anchorage varies by industry, the
job being performed, the type of installation and the structure
