Interview
Interviewer: Hi everybody! Welcome to your favourite TV show “Good Morning
World”. Today’s topic is “Women who promote diversity”
Our guest is Mariana Costa Checa. She is 34 years old and she lives in
Peru. She is the founder of Laboratoria.
Hi Mariana. What is Laboratoria?
Mariana: Hello! Laboratoria is my organization. We offer training in technology
for women.
Interviewer: That’s awesome!
Mariana: Yes! Women can study technology, and this can give them an
opportunity to get a good job. They can work in banks, hospitals, and
other industries.
Interviewer: Wow! So, Laboratoria promotes diversity because it trains women to
work in a field that is traditionally male.

Mariana: Yes. It is important to create opportunities for women so they can work
in technology. Technology is transforming the future. Many women
can’t pay for a university program. In Laboratoria, women can learn
to be a software developer in only six months. If you want to promote
diversity, you can create opportunities for everyone.
Interviewer: Mariana, you are amazing!
