The Removable part of the Oil gun consists
of the following:
(i) Spray Tip Assembly
(ii) Stainless Steel Nozzle Body
(iii) Removable Union
TIP of the Air Cooled Oil Gun assembly is
made of high temperature Stainless Steel which
undergoes Nitriding (Hardening process) to
withstand the high temperatures.
The Oil Gun assemblies have been designed
for air-cooling provision. The Capnut that holds the
Atomizer to the oil body is provided with specially
sized cooling fins. A Sleeve over the Capnut protects
the fins and also directs the cooling air effectively
over the Atomizer Spray Plate. The Oil Guns can
always be left in the firing position and with cooling
air the Atomizer parts experience very less
temperature, protected from overheating. Also the
Atomizer parts are kept clean, free from any
dripping oil/coal/dust etc.,

The Atomizer Assembly of on operating Oil
Gun is protected from the hot furnace radiation by
the flowing fuel Oil and Steam thereby keeping it
relatively cool.
Once the burner is stopped there is no
further flow of oil or steam. Under such situations
supply of Cooling Air to Oil Gun is required to save
the Atomizer from damages due to overheating.
AIR COOLING/COMBUSTION SYSTEM FOR
OIL GUNS:
An Air Cooling/Combustion system with
two fans (one working and one standby) is
provided in each Boiler to supply the Cooling Air to
Oil Guns, Scanners and HEA Ignitors.
The air intake from atmosphere through a
duplex filter, an autotransformer damper which
operates by the force of the fan outlet air pressure
itself gives a simple and reliable system.
SPARES SUPPORT:
BCPL can supply Oil Burner Spares based
on customer sample, 100% similar to the sample
including the materials used.

EXISTING OIL GUN/BURNER.
