workers around the world have had to take on new tasks and responsibilities
• Agility – the ability to adapt, take on new roles quickly and efficiently, all in service of
shifting customer needs. Learning is at the core of this, as it enables “workforce
resilience” and “guided reinvention”
• Business - Learning initiatives are now in close alignment to the goals of the company

• Hybridisation – Learning is beyond a particular business result, but also want a social
force to help people develop
• Behavioural skills - Increased emphasis on, also known as power skills or soft skills, has
become a top priority for companies to address in 2020
• Learning has the power to redefine work, performance standards and leadership
responsibilities over the next decade.
• With the IT industry evolving rapidly, "no-code" technological platforms will reduce the
likelihood of knowledge workers being replaced by automation, because the platforms
will give these employees time to work on more meaningful and efficient problem-
solving
