ABOUT THE ROLE:

You are responsible to conduct & improvise education programs/presentations/shows at

professional level, prepare presentation scripts and administration work assigned.
Assist in husbandry tasks in the Wildlife Park
Wildlife Presenter is responsible to positively promote Sunway Lagoon and the Wildlife
Park by providing accurate and quality information on animals to visitors/customers in
professional manner, as well as be punctual and consistent in work quality for all
activities.
You need to ensure props and work equipment is being kept in order, alert and report any
defects concerning safety and breakdown immediately and to provide assistance in any
maintenance work request from time to time.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

One with minimum SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Bachelor's

Degree in Animal Resource Science/Agriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry, Biology,
Chemistry, Science & Technology, BioTechnology or any related field. SPM leavers &
fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
Someone who are energetic and passionate, willing to learn about Wildlife, and be able
to talk and present in the public.
You need to be someone who is punctual, flexible at time management, able to work 6
days a week, on weekends and public holiday period to cater on the business needs.
You will have an advantage if you are:
One with a Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree
in Biology/Ecology/Wildlife management/Natural streams and plants/Wildlife
management techniques/Natural resource conservation/Wildlife
populations/Forest ecology or equivalent; have internship or working
experience in conservation/zookeeping field
Good at public speaking and presentation
Able to write and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia, as well as
competence in vernacular languages such as Mandarin or Tamil language.
Pleasant appearance and can carry yourselves well while interacting with
guests, patrons and employee, possess good analytical skill, decision-making
and problem solving abilities.

I am very excited and interested in wildlife presenter position at Sunway Lagoon, as advertised
on Jobstreets. I am Aquatic Science Resource And Management graduate from Universiti
Malaysia Sarawak . I believe that the skills and experiences I have gained during my studies
make me an ideal candidate for the job of wildlife presenter. Put simply, I love learning. I am
happy to spend time digging up information and talk about wildlife infront of people. I’m confident
that I would be a valuable asset to the team.

I have a strong knowledge in wildlife and animal conservation backed by experienced I gain in
the last 3 years. During my role as Aquarist at Jong’s Crocodile Park, I learn so much thing
about how to manage activities at wildlife park such as observing animal details such as size,
condition, behavior and I also managed to learn about how to attract customers so that they
know and learn about the beauty of wildlife. In addition to my experience,I also have a great
communication skills based on my experience as sales assistant at Borneo Samariang
Waterpark. I can easily communicate with people and I think I can make a great job on
promoting Sunway Lagoon and Wildlife Park to the public.

I am confident that my proven track record of excellent work ethic, experience and skills will
qualify me a great candidate for this position and make me an immediate asset at Sunway
