First of all, I would love to praise and thank the Almighty God for
giving us strength and because of His blessing, I would not have
gone this far. This assignment could not have been finished without
the support of my family. I always work hard and cooperate for this
assignment and do my job with full commitment and responsibility.

Next, I would like to appreciate with thank Dr. Rabiatul Adawiyah

Ma’arof because without her guidance my assignment could not

2.0 PROFILING PLATFORMS
1. FREELANCER

For the first platform, I had chose Freelancer to bid on the jobs. Based on my research,
I discovered that freelancer is a platforms where providing a work diary and desktop
app to enable businesses to track work time and result. In the other words is where a
jobs online for everyone who used the freelancer. Its also a big chances for bidding
here because these are a largest online marketplace in the world. The communication
in freelancer is must in this website only. Freelancer is a legitimate platform for clients
to get jobs done and freelancers to earn a reliable income. There are some tasks
provided by clients and contests to freelancers joined. This marketplace greatly
leading people to find work in fields from software, data entry, designer, sales and
marketing.

2. WORKANA
Next, I had chose Workana as it was a popular online freelancing platform that
connects businesses and individuals with a global network of freelancers and remote
professionals. It facilities the outsourcing of various tasks and projects across a wide
range of industries and job categories. Workana covers a divers range of job
categories, including web and app development, graphic design, content writing,
digital marketing, administrative tasks, translation, and much more. This diversity
allows users to find freelancers for a wide array of tasks. Workana has gained
popularity as a go-to platform for businesses and individuals looking to find
freelance talent for various tasks and project, whether it’s a one time project or
ongoing work. It offers a convenient and efficient way to access a global talent pool
and manage remote relationships.

3. PEOPLE PER HOUR

I chose peoplePerHour because it is an online freelancing platform that connect

businesses and individuals with freelance professionals in various industries.
PeoplePerHour is designed to facilitate freelance work arrangements and
collaborations. PeoplePerHour may provide resources, such as blog posts, webinars,
and a community forum, to help freelancers and clients navigate the platform
effectively. When using this platform, I could create a compelling profile, bid on
projects that match my skills and interests, communicate effectively with clients, and
deliver high-quality to build positive reputation on the platform.

4. GURU

Guru.com is an online marketplace and platform for freelancing where companies and
people can search for, employ, and work together with global freelance professionals.
The website connects companies with qualified independent contractors who may
offer services in fields including web development, graphic design, writing, marketing,
programming, and more. It acts as a central location for a variety of job categories and
industries. Clients can post job openings or project descriptions with specific
requirements and expectations for freelancers to bid on at these websites. In addition,
in order to draw in companies, freelancers should construct comprehensive profiles
that highlight their qualifications, experience, portfolios, and client endorsements.
This platform prioritizes adaptability, openness, and an intuitive user experience to
enable successful freelance partnerships.

5. UPWORK
For the last platform for searching online job is Upwork. Upwork is one of the largest
and most well-known online freelancing platforms, connecting businesses and
individuals with freelance professionals from a wide range of fields. It also offers
marketplace for employers to post job opportunities or projects, and for freelancer to
find work in their area of expertise. To succeed on Upwork, it's important for I to
create a compelling profile, submit well-crafted proposals, communicate effectively,
meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.

3.0 ONLINE PAYMENT REGISTRATION

PAYPAL
I picked PayPal as a means of payment online since it was simple
and widely accepted.PayPal is a payment platform that allows both
individuals and businesses to make and receive electronic
payments. PayPal provides consumer and seller safety, as well as a
variety of business-related tools and services. PayPal is a quick and
simple online monetary service that allows you to buy products
using your safe online account.

 4.0 Bidding ( Contest summary )

After completing my profile background for each of the five platforms that I had
registered. I began bidding on these fifth platforms to get full marks on this
assignment. The five platforms that I registered are Workana, Guru, Upwork,
Freelancer, and PeoplePerHour. When a client posts a project on Freelancer, I
commonly will submit my bids for that project within a proposal, indicating the
price that I agreed to work for and the estimated time to complete the tasks.
Other than that, I can show my skills, experience, and qualifications to potential
clients. The most important thing before I go through bidding is to make sure the
clients make the deposit first to avoid being scammed by other people. The
price of each project that I bid on must be considered to ensure that it is neither
too high nor too low.

Based on the required table of contents provided by me while placing my bids, I

had bids for 30 over 50 bidding on projects by clients in certain platforms. In
order to complete this report, I used Freelancer more than other platforms
because it was easier to receive the payment within a secure account.

5.0 Online Interview
An online interview takes place using digital communication
channels such as Skype, Google Meet, chatbots, or audio calls.
When I used freelancer.com, after submitting proposals for jobs at
my level, I was usually contacted by a potential employer who
expressed interest in my services. The subsequent interview was
conducted using the chatbox feature available on the Freelancer
platform. For your convenience, the conversation transcript
regarding the project details is displayed below. However, I did get
an opportunity to chat with the client regarding the project that I
had bid but I did not successfully make him believe in my past
work. Below is the conversation of me and the client.

5.1 Scammer

However, some platform did not complete without scammer.

In other words, there might have people doing a scam to get
project for free. Based on my studied, I can recognize a few sign
that it is a scammer which is they use pressure Technique. This
happen when they keep pushing us to accept the project. Next,
they sending a text or file or other file extension format to bypass
the first-level security feature. Then, they might ask our personal
details such as name, ID, account number, email and others
personal information. They also trying to take offsite
communication that they will ask to communicate at telegram or
any other platform.
So, what we need to do is keep calm and do not click any
suspicious links provided before inspection. We also need to never
reveal our personal details as they just need to know about
personal detail that provided in your profile information. Last but
not least, we should not bother if the message looks suspicious,
look away. While doing this report, gladly I did not receive any
scam of message.

6.0 Job Awarded

Throughout my engagement with freelancer.com, I have

actively participated by submitting a total of 43 on various job
postings. Additionally, I have also taken part in 8 contests
hosted on freelancer.com. Among the bids I had submitted, I
successfully secured one contest on freelancer.com from an
outsider employer. I got 3 rating stars in a contest about making
a logo.

 7.0 Income Generation

Income generation is the income that we gain from doing

something. As freelancers, we usually get an income after
winning a contest or successfully getting a project from an
employer in freelancer. In this report, I only get a rating star
from a potential employer for making a logo for his Instagram
icon. However, I did not win this contest.

 8.0 Client Review/ Star Rating
Upon the successful completion of the project and contest, I
was granted a favorable three-star review by the employer.
Below are the viewers left by the employer on the project and
contest.

9.0 Conclusion

In conclusion, working as a Freelancer can be a rewarding

and beneficial experience for both freelancers and clients.
Furthermore, Freelancers have the opportunity to work on a
variety of projects, gain valuable experience, and build their
professional network. They can also enjoy the flexibility of
choosing their hours and working from anywhere in the world.

For clients, Freelancer provides a platform to access a pool

of talented individuals who can deliver high-quality work. It
offers a cost-effective and efficient way to get projects
completed and allows for easy communication and
collaboration. Overall, Freelancer has revolutionized the way
people work and has created new opportunities in the global job
market. Whether you are a freelancer looking for work or a client
seeking talented professionals, Freelancer is a platform worth
exploring.

Last but not least, I gain so much knowledge while doing this
project. It is because I never knew that freelancers could make
so much money even if we did not go out of nowhere. Also,
freelancing is a workplace where we can choose our timing to
make-up the project.
