1.0 INTRODUCTION OF LOST WORLD OF TAMBUN

Family explorations can be exciting and safe at The Lost World of Tambun (LWOT).
This self-contained wonderland is completely surrounded by lush tropical jungle, natural
hot springs, breathtaking limestone features that are 400 million years old, and seven
incredible attraction parks. It is the ideal day and night destination for a distinctive eco-
adventure excursion for visitors of all ages. After a strenuous day of exploration, The Lost
World Hotel is nearby and makes for the perfect bed.

The Lost World of Tambun is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00
p.m., as well as weekends, school holidays, and public holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00
p.m. Except for Malaysian school and public holidays, it is closed on Tuesday. It is located
in the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan.

It not only serves as a "lost paradise" for people of all ages, but it also serves as an
appropriate learning environment, with a variety of exciting educational elements scattered
throughout the park. It is also Southeast Asia's only theme park with natural hot springs
as well as a variety of attractions and rides. Meetings and team-building activities can be
held in any of the Hotel's seven function rooms or in one of the park's themed areas, such
as Kepura Cave, which can accommodate 10 to 200 people.

This location is a popular tourist destination because it has a variety of interesting

activities and several theme parks. It has become a popular tourist destination due to
activities such as dulang washing. The dulang was used to scoop up the earth, which was

mixed with water, and the mud was swept away by carefully swirling the water, leaving
only the heavier tin ore. Children will be able to participate in 'dulang washing,' the art of
extracting tin from the earth and sand with a dulang.

2.0 INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL FACTORS

Internal considerations are the organization's advantages and weaknesses. Internal

factors can have a significant impact on how well a company achieves its goals, and they can
be regarded a strength if they have a good impact, but a weakness if they have a negative
one. A variety of internal traits have been identified as new tourism attractions. As we all know,
people visiting this place benefit our country's economy by paying for their aircraft tickets. The
Lost World of Tambun has a variety of fun activities for visitors of all ages. It is a fantastic
opportunity to strengthen family bonds.

Internal factors refer to everything in the lost realm of tambun that can be controlled,
whether tangible or intangible. These factors are then classified as the company's strengths
and weaknesses. Strength is described as a factor that benefits the firm. Internal factors
influence the success and attitude to activities in Tambun's Lost World. In contrast to the
external environment, these factors are under the company's control. It is vital to be aware of
potential opportunities and threats outside of activities. However, managing the strengths of
internal processes is organizational success. Internal aspects are primarily made up of one's
own internal strengths and weaknesses. Internal factors may influence how LWOT meets its
objectives. Strengths have a favourable impact on a business. Weaknesses are damaging to
the success of a business.

Some examples of internal factors in Lost World of Tambun are:

• Physical resources include the location of the company, its equipment, and its facilities.
• Employees, target audiences, and volunteers are examples of human resources.

For physical resources, the Lost World of Tambun theme park and hotel is located in
Sunway City Ipoh, Tambun, Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. This facility was previously
managed by the Sunway Group. On November 11, 2004, Sultan Azlan Shah officially opened
the 40-acre park. It covers an area of 7,432 m2 and is bordered by 400 million old limestone
hills. It features over 80 attractions spread across ten parks, including the country's largest
wave pool and the longest man-made adventure river. The use of the Lost World of Tambun's
facilities and equipment, on the other hand, is entirely at their own risk. In addition, the Lost
World of Tambun provides tourists with a variety of equipment and facilities. The Lost World
Water Park, Lost World Amusement Park, Lost World Petting Zoo, Hot Springs, and Spa by
Night are all high-quality attractions that are sure to impress.

Besides from that, human resource staff are intrinsic aspects in Lost World of Tambun. An
institution that supervises several aspects of employment does human resource management.

7
This involves labour legislation, compliance with employment standards, interviewing,
and employee benefit administration. Some aspects of employee onboarding include
recruiting, as well as the organisation of employee files with necessary documents for future
reference. They serve as a link between management and employees in a business.
Furthermore, the Lost World of Tambun is appealing to people of all ages. From youngsters
to adults, people of all ages can enjoy and spend time there. This is because Lost World of
Tambun is appropriate for people of all ages.

This apart from internal motivations, there are external elements that draw people to
the Lost World of Tambun. As we all know, Lost World of Tambun always offers incentives to
those who are qualified or who use the Lost World of Tambun amenities on a regular basis.
For example, if someone wishes to celebrate their birthday at LWOT, it offers a birthday-
themed package for RM1600 for ten people and RM110 for each additional person. The deal
includes a party pack and hi-tea. It also includes a 1kg birthday cake for the occasion. LWOT
not only provides birthday cake, but also decorates the location in accordance with the birthday
theme requested by the customer, such as a princess theme or a superpower theme.

In addition, LWOT collaborates with personalities such as Upin & Ipin and Boboiboy.
Lost World of Tambun has worked with celebrities to attract visitors from all around the
country. Lost World of Tambun has arranged numerous activities to attract teenagers and
children. It will celebrate Halloween every year with organised haunted houses at 'Haunted
Chambers.' For further information, the haunted house is the most popular attraction in Lost
World of Tambun, with the majority of teens visiting. It also offered distinct amenities than
other Malaysian theme parks. The Lost World Hotel is Malaysia's only hotel that provides free
night park entry. Finally, to better present LWOT, they have collaborated with the media to
advertise their facilities and entertainment. They advertised their group on all social media
sites. It has already become a well-known theme park and waterpark in Malaysia as a result
of this strategy.

8
3.0 System
Digitization, which is used for online bookings, is one of Lost World of Tambun's
current trends. To save time and avoid the queue, book your ticket directly from their websites.
The fact that visitors are informed of the empty rooms makes this strategy more practical. In
addition, Lost World of Tambun promotes its company on social media sites like Facebook
and Instagram. This will have a big impact because that could attract people looking for a
vacation place.

3.1 Facilities
Furthermore, this site offers a wide range of amenities to its tourists. Both a kid-friendly
water park and a theme park geared at families are available. In addition, there are hot springs,
which are great places to relieve stress. LWOT is a location that is suitable for visitors of all
ages, to put it simply. For the visitors' accommodation while they were there, they also
provided a hotel. Basic amenities including a restroom, a space to worship, a parking lot, and
a guard for visitors' security are also there.

The management of LWOT must establish certain safety precautions, such as the
cleanliness of the water quality in the theme park that is safe for visitors, fire extinguisher to
prevent of fires, in the current environment where safety is important to ensure the safety of
tourists is protected in order to avoid any accidents in the theme park that may cause less
attraction because tourists start to worry about their safety when they were there.

3.2 Promotion
Investing in mobile is one of the upcoming trends that Lost World of Tambun can use.
Making an app that allows users to learn more about LWOT is an excellent idea because
people are constantly using their mobile devices nowadays. Apps for generating promotions,
buying tickets, and using virtual maps can all be created by them. This can make it simpler for
visitors to order tickets and discover any ongoing deals. Having access to all of their
information in one place is advantageous for consumers.

In addition, the future trends section of the slides can be improved with virtual reality
to make it look more intriguing and engaging. Due of the information it offers visitors, many
individuals will be interested in this.

Conclusion
In conclusion, all travellers from across the world consider the Lost World of Tambun
(LWOT) to be one of Malaysia's top tourist destinations. One of the reasons is the abundance
of unique sculptures throughout Lost World of Tambun, which can be found right at the
entrance and on every corner. In addition, tourists and Malaysians should visit the Lost World
of Tambun since there are lots of entertaining activities and games there. The park currently
contains water rides in addition to a river and beach garden with twin waterfalls that are 20
feet tall. Southeast Asia's Longest Man-Made River, the park's 660-meter Adventure River,
which flows alongside caverns and vegetation, was recently recognised by the Malaysia Book
of Records. Cliff Racer, Tube Raiders, Malaysia's largest wave pool, and more. Big tipping
tubs, water cannons, splashing elephants, water curtains, and fountains were all included in
the area's design by the children's playground Explorabay.

Kids' menus and kid-friendly services are also available at LWOT's eateries. Due to
the ease with which they can select the proper diet for their children, this is incredibly practical
for parents. Every restaurant in LWOT is also Halal-certified, so Muslims don't have to worry
about whether they can dine there or not. Additionally, each LWOT restaurant is unique in its
own way. For tourists or Malaysians who are vegan, there are a variety of dining alternatives
available in the restaurant, including Western cuisine, traditional Malaysian food, and healthy
vegetarian selections.

Additionally, Lost World of Waterpark offers more than just standard water slides. Kid-
sized slides and a sizable, wet, interactive play area with enormous tipping buckets, water
cannons, spraying elephants, water curtains, and fountains, for instance, are both found in
Kids Explorabay at Lost World Water Park. A place that is appropriate for youngsters is the
Lost World Petting Zoo. to better their understanding of the animal kingdom. Kids enjoy seeing
animals, as is well known. In addition, LWOT features a terrifying area called the Haunted
Chambers that gives visitors a spine-tingling experience.

All of the aforementioned reasons are the main reasons you should visit LWOT,
especially during this epidemic season when ticket costs have been lowered to make it more
reasonable for Malaysians to visit and take part in the attractions.
