Online Micro-teaching
Presentation 1:

Marks = 10

Attendance +Participation = 10

Guidelines for Lesson plan presentation

1. Students will prepare power point presentation of the topic/lesson plan to be presented in
Google meeting.
2. The same PPTs will be uploaded on LMS against Lesson plan Presentation assignment
and your teaching will be observed as per format given/shared in the end.
3. One of the students will teach their own group (batch fellows) considering them his/her
students. That presentation or teaching will be for 20-25 minutes followed by 5 minutes
question answer session. The next 5 minutes will be used for feedback to the student by
the instructor.
4. The students will upload PPT slides as presented in their session against this assignment.
The students who haven’t presented and only uploaded the PPT slides will get zero marks
because this assignment is based on the presentation skills not “how to make power point
slides”.
5. There will be 1-2 session (hour each) on zoom meeting/Google meet as arranged by the
instructor every day.
6. The link of online session will be shared in email. It will be sent on STUDENT
EMAIL only and Announcement section.
7. Students will be invited in groups. Allocation of students to sessions 1 and 2 will be
done by the instructor.
8. Each student will give 1 presentation on the subject and topic of their choice.
9. Each student will submit 1 peer observation. Your peers will be allocated by your
instructors and a separate assignment has been uploaded (see assignment 5).
10. Attendance will be marked in the beginning and end of the session. A sheet (Excel) can
be used to mark attendance. Attendance can be assured by asking them to be vigilant
throughout the lesson because the presenter can ask a question, anyone, anytime and their
vigilance will get marks for this in their presentation.
11. Each student has to attend all the sessions of 1 hour in all this activity of Online TP.
12. Attendance and participation will be marked and graded.
13. Student-teacher will be assessed on the following observation sheet.
14. All the links of zoom meeting/google meet will be shared on student email only.
