GUIDELINES ON PRESENTATION PORTFOLIO ASSESSMENT

1. ALS Completers are required to prepare a presentation portfolio before the

registration as additional evidence of their mastery of competencies in the ALS
K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. The portfolio should contain select
samples of the learner’s learning outputs and relevant records of evidence of
prior learning. These evidences must reflect the mastered competency/ies from
previous training/work experiences which cover all the six (6) Learning Strands
of the ALS K to 12 BEC. These evidences will include but not limited to the
following:

2. The ALS teacher should certify that all the learning contents of the portfolio are
their learners own individual work. The ALS Teacher should verify in writing

of evidence of learning. Final evaluation of presentation portfolio shall be done
by the Education Program Specialist II for ALS (EPS II for ALS) prior to the
registration period using the following checklist criteria:
